I never did make it to the pool but I got 3 dozen blueberry muffins made. Tomorrow I'm going or at least I'll try

I can pop an entire container of cherry tomatoes like others pop grapes...love those things...!

My daughter's like that. She must get that from her dad. I don't care for raw tomatoes.

I love peaches. It's my favorite fruit of all time. When I was a kid, there was an ice cream place that had an absolutely wonderful peach sundae. They served it with whipped cream, of course, and Nabisco Sugar Wafers. What ever happened to those. Yummy. My mouth is watering now.

Peach cobbler with struesel topping and vanilla ice cream.

I did bake some streusel banana muffins today. I won't be eating them for awhile though, I'm freezing them up so when we need a quick breakfast when school starts (or a break from Cheerios) I have something good.

Those 2 souls were from a community called Lakeway just down the road from us on Lake Travis. So freakin' sad. All so freakin' sad for everybody affected.
One of the partners at the firm lives in Lakeway. No clue if they knew them...he and his family are on vacation right now, but, not in Europe.
I'm trying to keep my mind focused on more positive things, but, it ain't easy.

Life can be so hard at times. It can be very hard to keep a positive attitude, I hope you and your friends can cope eventually.

We have the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, Texas.
It is an awesome WWII museum, and tour. You would love it.

So would I. We went on a WW 2 ship in San Diego, it was sobering to see the conditions they lived under. Bless their souls.

So my quick errand running turned into a little adventure, the guys all decided some mall walking would be a good idea. Mall and me together is a very bad idea! I really need to just keep walking past the sale signs. I wasn't too bad I got one top 95% off because one little bit of the hem came loose. Big score for me Needle thread and 2 minutes all fixed.

Wonderful for you! I want to go shopping with you, I never catch these kinds of bargains.

Okay, time for a crazy and funny story today. So I'm watching the news about Turkey, suddenly our weather alert went off. I went to see what was happening...listened to a severe storm warning. I come out of the room to see hubby going by with a ladder (to fix a burnt out bulb), scared me to death, couldn't hear him coming, after that I go to sit in my chair to regroup, hubby turns on a light for me, it pops really loud and goes out, again my heart is racing. Silly things to happen all at once, I'm now going to sit in a corner, and avoid anything!

Okay, alarm just went off again. Half dollar size hail heading our way. It's really dark and windy outside. Signing off for the evening. Crazy times and crazy weather! I love my bathroom!

Just think of the time and enjoyment she must get from exploring his wrinkles. There has never been a more ugly man, however, I'm sure he has a very attractive wallet and now that there is a kid coming it is likely to be more permanently available.

Yes, the conditions on the ships at Pearl Harbor were quite cramped. Although I'd take them any day over the Japanese suicide torpedos.

The large hail missed us. We had high winds, no big deal out here. And dime size hail. Ho hum!
