My dad couldn't give us a lot growing up but we each got fancy bikes. My youngest sister and I both had these. So classic now.

I was given a similar Schwinn for Chiristmas back in No Cal one year. I used some lawn mowing money to trade out the banana seat and "ape hanger" handlebars for a shorter seat and some motocross-type handlebars...!

is Charleston a nice place ? I keep hearing that name but no idea about tourism or visiting.

It's a very pretty little city. Not a really big city, but full of history and located right next to the water. And with fantastic low-country food. I'll post some pictures if I can find them.

There are tomatoes in the grocery store and they are okay. The ones at the farmers market in the summer months are always more flavorful.

solo trip or family inbound?

I will be traveling with 5 other people. They are a family, but not my family. My friend Annette invited me along with her aunt Patty, and her 3 kids. One of her kids has a birthday exactly one day before mine. It's going to be a great trip. We will be 6 days at WDW Parks. and are going to the first Halloween Party. After WDW, we will spend 2 days in the Universal Parks. I will be 69, and the young birthday boy will be 17.

I'm still learning my way around this website, but I do happen to usually take thousands of pictures on my Disney Vacations. Not saying, I would ever try to share them all, but if I figure out how to post them, I just might have to share some of my favorites. We are staying at Pop, followed by Cabana Bay. My friend Annette is super excited. It's her first stay at a WDW hotel. This will be my 11th stay at WDW.

If you like haunted, Charleston is absolutely over flowing with "haunted" locations. There are walking tours of haunted jails, haunted cemeteries (which is probably appropriate) and haunted buildings.

Oh gods, the whole Vegan thing. Reminds me of the online meme of "Hi, I'm Vegan" (where you dont care nor know them yet they MUST tell you that they are vegan). Think of it similar to the Mormons attempts to convert people but with vegetarianism
