I'm not much of a drinker, but, I just found myself with a bottle of Amaretto Liqueur. I don't have any idea how it is used? Can it be consumed alone, on the rocks or is it more of a mix with other things kind of animal? I found it in the back of my cupboard because I apparently got it as a gift from a friend and hauled it to NC when I moved. I think I had it a couple of years previous to my moving. Tells you how much I consume doesn't it?

I receive two basic gifts. Bottles and Candles from my clients. Frankly candles scare the heck out of me and so many fragrances set off my ability to breathe, a few are nice but not so much. While I must admit I occasionally love a good mixed drink, more often than not at WDW as they do things well and don't make me wanta gag. The FQ makes a very nice Whiskey Sour, Prime Time Dad's Electric Lemonade and the World Showcase has 3 drinks I love, Grey Goose in France, several margaritas in Mexico and Liebfraumilch white wine in Germany. Around home if I drink at all it is usually the long gotten over White Zinfandel wine. It is sweet and the lowest alcohol content of wine. I tip over easily.

\Really my favorite gift from my clients is a gift card from Starbucks. I'm hard pressed to pay $5 for a favorite-so the cards are well thought of. An easy gift but appreciated the most.

Hahaaa...!
I saved the pic...it very well could...!!! :hungry: ;)

Yep, first thing I thought of was Pops. I saw little ducks hanging in a Springs photo on the main website. Thought of him again. I wouldn't want to be seated near the show kitchen. I don't like my meat to resemble their previous being. I saw another one, menu saying Whole Fish.
They were not kidding. Propped up like he was swimming on the plate, face, lips, eyes. I LOVE fish. I just don't want him staring at me.

Cheese, spinach, and bacon. :hungry:

No running for me yet, just walking for now...low impact on my older bones and joints...! ;)

I don't RUN!!!! Never liked it. My Dad ran six marathons after he was 65. Masacred his hips and knees and his feet payed the price too.
He was warned by his ortho but he KNEW better. I walk a great deal each day and ride my bike in the nicer months. Running not likely to ever happen.

Don't get me wrong; I still love Ftozen and Let it Go, but it was in Paint the Night, World of Color, and Celebrate (fireworks). And then the marching band was playing it. They obviously can't Let it Go. :p:rolleyes:

When Frozen came out I wasn't overwhelmed as most were with the movie. I did enjoy the soundtrack and especially Let it Go. That quickly changed. There were songs and movies that were overly hyped in short order in my lifetime that made me go from enjoying to hating and that is where I am with Let it Go. Overdone. Dead Horse. Oddly before your lifetime likely it happened with The Lion King too, still that is my favorite soundtrack. Never did get overplayed in my head even though it did play a great deal. Till this day I still love the Lion King soundtrack. The film I'm OK with. Go figure.

What a mess! Hopefully the garage is okay today.

Thanks. There were only a few things overturned this morning so it was obviously from the night before when he escaped. He was young so I hope he found his family he had been traveling with. Poor thing was probably scared half to death and hungry-thirsty. Still stay out of my garage fool.

We have those large garbage receptacles on wheels. I filled one with the gasoline filled stuff the racoon dumped the two gas cans over on and drenched. I'm smelling the gasoline everytime I pass that can. Can't wait for garbage day on Tuesday. Scarey stuff.

Aww . . . out of all the houses they could have chosen, they chose yours. :inlove: :hilarious:

This reminds me of when I was a kid, and we had a barrel outside, in the backyard. All our trash went into that, including any table scraps, etc. One summer, the raccoons in the area discovered it, and they made one heck of a mess. It got to the point where my father had to put a heavy cement block on the barrel cover to finally keep them away! :jawdrop:

I never had an issue with our galvanized garbage cans. When we went to these mega wheel cans from the town's vendor they got into it quickly. I now bungee cord it down and that has cured the problem. Slapping their heads in the lid has been a great deterrent. Where the galvanized cans fit snugly and they couldn't scratch their way in.

Last week at my DD apartment I went to toss something into her dumpster, the small rectangle metal versions. At the bottom, in the corner was a young raccoon sound asleep. He didn't stop sleeping no matter what I tossed in. I worried he couldn't climb out. My DD assured me there was a hole in the bottom that both the wildlife including the squirrels entered and exited. I don't like them, I just wish them no harm. Skunks on the other hand....:cautious:

I like it either on the rocks or in coffee. JMHO

Though it is being presented as a new to AK thing, night openings of AK isn't new. We have done EMHs at AK several times years ago.
Everest is cool to both ride and gawk at. It is beyond pretty lit up. The paths on the other hand not so much. I can remember being by Nemo and those paths being beyond dark, just not designed for it and hope that will be addressed.

I look forward to Rivers and hope for the best. Beyond that not much would draw me to AK beyond the 10 minute tree show which I hear is so nice but not enough to make me truck out there. While the safari could be cool at night there is the truth of facts that most of the critters sleep at night, nature just doesn't yield to Disney attractions. My last trip the giraffes were already lining up at their back gate to their off stage habitat for food and sleep almost an hour before closing. Creatures of habit.

To me the best part was the ambiance of the park. Something about soft lighting well done and great landscaping. I feel the same way about the World Showcase in the dark hours before Illuminations.
I know after dark isn't new but we've never been. Seeing we go in summer it always seemed to close by sunset on our days

I wish my state made fireworks for residential use illegal again. My neighborhood is like a war zone.

AMEN brother. In my state it IS ILLEGAL, but there are ALWAYS offenders. My poor dog has been traumatized the past two nights with this complete stupidity going on. And they do it late at night, too--for the most part, my bedroom air conditioner (low hum) drowns out the noise so we can sleep for the most part.

I'm riding my bike this morning to celebrate the 4th! (no traffic out there--LOVE it . . .) Hubby is running a local 5K race this morning. It's a tradition with him on the 4th. :)

By the way, happy 4th of July, peeps!! :cat:
