Thank you. He was nearly 100, so it's not completely unexpected, but I had called my grandmother right before we left, and she said he had been doing well, so it's sudden. My grandmother found him unresponsive this morning, she called 911, and they got him to the hospital, and he passed later today.
Hopefully what he had was painless.
Id prefer to "go" sleeping than having something serious and debilitating for months or years (like cancer again)

I'm thinking (although it's blurry) that it has a Texas license plate. :D

Yep, I zoomed in on it, and it's a little blurry, but, that's definitely an old Texas black and white plate! Thanks for pointing that out...! :)

And, now that I look at it closer, I think I may have posted that same pic, for whatever reason, a long time ago...or I'm havin' a senior moment...!!! :hilarious:
Anyway, thanks...! :)

I'm not much of a drinker, but, I just found myself with a bottle of Amaretto Liqueur. I don't have any idea how it is used? Can it be consumed alone, on the rocks or is it more of a mix with other things kind of animal? I found it in the back of my cupboard because I apparently got it as a gift from a friend and hauled it to NC when I moved. I think I had it a couple of years previous to my moving. Tells you how much I consume doesn't it?

It seems to be more of a mixed drink type liquor. Here are some things you can do with it...

Thank you so much, I can't wait to see AK at night.

Though it is being presented as a new to AK thing, night openings of AK isn't new. We have done EMHs at AK several times years ago.
Everest is cool to both ride and gawk at. It is beyond pretty lit up. The paths on the other hand not so much. I can remember being by Nemo and those paths being beyond dark, just not designed for it and hope that will be addressed.

I look forward to Rivers and hope for the best. Beyond that not much would draw me to AK beyond the 10 minute tree show which I hear is so nice but not enough to make me truck out there. While the safari could be cool at night there is the truth of facts that most of the critters sleep at night, nature just doesn't yield to Disney attractions. My last trip the giraffes were already lining up at their back gate to their off stage habitat for food and sleep almost an hour before closing. Creatures of habit.

To me the best part was the ambiance of the park. Something about soft lighting well done and great landscaping. I feel the same way about the World Showcase in the dark hours before Illuminations.

I used to like drinking ameretto sours (with sour mix I guess ). A friend of mine would get ameretto sweets with 7-up. I have also used it in baking in cupcakes and frosting. It is also used in the drink Alabama slammers I believe.

did they really changed that much? I ate there back in 2008 or 2009 and it was fine. not empowering at all.

Wings very greatly from venue to venue, region and city. And add in the ME factor. I wasn't raised with spices and it is only been in the last 10 years I could eat anything with stronger spices as my taste buds are dieing off.

I just ate something on Saturday for lunch that was CALLED Bang Bang Shrimp. Trust me it was nowhere near Bang Bang Shrimp. Me I just never order Wings. I know people love them, I just don't see the draw.
