Our next trip to WDW we're looking into camping at FW. :)

Now that sounds like an adventure!!! :D Fort Wilderness is really peaceful and very different from regular hotel accommodations. A few times, I've toyed with the idea of renting one of those cabins; haven't done it yet because travelling solo (without renting a car), I figured a hotel room might be more convenient. I know that FW is really spread out and you need a car, or I think, a golf cart type of vehicle, to get around. There's bus service, but I've read mixed reviews about that; it all depends on exactly where in FW you're staying. But with more than one person in your party, I think that staying at FW would be a hoot. By all means, go for it! :joyfull:

I've heard that too about FW and golf carts or bikes at least. I heard you can actually rent golf carts from off sight just like some do with strollers and electric mobility carts. I wanted to stay multiple times in the cabins especially when they were new when Disney ditched their old trailers.

We only did a couple summer trips where we broke mid-day to get away from the sun and went back in the evening. I thought the cabins would be a great place with a deck and extra space inside to spread out. It was the pool area that was the downfall. It was small and generic because there use to be River Country and we couldn't get past that having swimmers and all. The new Meadows Pool is nice that they opened a few years ago. I can see why campers love this place now. There is food and a nice arcade too. The waterslide which they didn't have before is a themed water barrel. If my kids were young I would have done FW with the new pool area.

I still love Play-doh. Silly Putty too. If there is a can of it out or an egg I am still grabbing a wad of it.

While Play-Doh is doing some major damage control now, I still cannot believe the cake piece was approved. :jawdrop: Wonder if the architect is still employed.

Play-Doh Can't be that oblivious. :cyclops: They are manufacturing a replacement do to all the Feedback, (nice word).
Betting they will be far more careful in the future.

83 today and tomorrow in Disney World. Mid 70's for the days after that. Yep, I'd like to be there for the weather this week. 83, I'd be hitting Blizzard Beach too. Nothing like swimming when it is a frozen tundra back home.

We love FW. We visit every trip and haven't had much of a problem with busses. It's about the same as everywhere else. :)

That is the only downside of living in the Carolina's. I love Florida, but, part of that love came from leaving Vermont in my rear view mirror and hanging out with palm trees and warm weather in February. Even though NC does have it's chilly days and chilly periods, it is nothing like Vermont was so the getaway is not nearly as pronounced. Still, old habits are hard to break.:)

My fridge is packed too with my big New Years meal in there that was meant to pick at for days plus I still have 1/3 of the stuffed pork roast meal in there. Garbage day on Monday. I will though take the ham bone and likely make pea soup (with bacon) early next week.
Seems that you have a full plan!

You were on a roll there last night.....:jawdrop::joyfull:
In my defence.. I was all groggy at 4:00 am when I posted that :hilarious:

Downton Abbey is incredibly popular but you're right it takes a few episodes.

Shows like this you have to stick with at least 4 episodes, they are trying to create an episode but need to cram the back story of all the characters. When there are so many, it takes a few episodes for it to start to flow.
Agree. Another thing I love about the British episodes.. is they last either 1 hour flat, or 2 hour flats.. no crappy 20 min shows with 10 mins of commercials.
They really last the full thing. Giving a better opportunity to display more complex histories.

Commercials are horrible here. Especially during sporting games.

A football (soccer game) is 90 minutes but only a few commercials so therefore only an hour and a half long. I don't know about the MLS, I have never watched a game. Ironically, a hockey game (60 minutes) and an American football game (60 minutes) are both shorter but with commercials are hours long.

A Sherlock episode on PBS (no commercials) is about an hour fifteen minutes. On BBC America, it was two hours. Worst is when they cut the episode so they can show more commercials and apparently Americans are too dumb to have a show end in the middle of the hour.

Question for you guys.....Hubby and I are going to a movie this afternoon but we can't decide between Unbroken or Into the Woods. What would you choose?

I want to see both but I'll probably see them when they come out.

Do you want fun or serious? And a movie where you get your money's worth?

I know that is no help. Unbroken would probably be my first choice though. I''m partial to WWII movies.

One of my brothers lives in the barbecue capitol of N.C. He loves the weather down there; it's not too hot, not too cold. (He never was a fan of the snow and cold like I am.) I told him that for an ex-Marine, he's a wuss! :joyfull:
