One of my best friends is Chinese so I just go where she goes. I have Vietnamese, Thai , and Japanese friends too. One of my supervisors is East Indian and she makes me vegetarian curry. Im lucky.
I'm with ya on the Chinese, somewhat with the Vietnamese but not so much with Thai. No way with the Indian. My DD room mate freshman year was from India and my DD wanted to gag daily with the left overs the girl cooked in their tiny room daily. They were friends through high school but they went to Panera.

Christmas stuff down outside and packed away (ice and snow threatening after midnight.) Christmas all down in the house and put away. Now everything just looks like winter. No flowers, no fresh veggies, no green anything.

Yah, all of our Christmas decorations, tree, etc. :( are put away now--except for just one Christmas china cup and saucer, that I still refuse to part with!!

To counter the post-Christmas yearly letdown, I cooked a roast beef dinner yesterday, with baked potatoes, carrots, and gravy. :hungry: It's amazing the effect that food has on me; I was ecstatic again! :p

Our next trip to WDW we're looking into camping at FW. :)

Now that sounds like an adventure!!! :D Fort Wilderness is really peaceful and very different from regular hotel accommodations. A few times, I've toyed with the idea of renting one of those cabins; haven't done it yet because travelling solo (without renting a car), I figured a hotel room might be more convenient. I know that FW is really spread out and you need a car, or I think, a golf cart type of vehicle, to get around. There's bus service, but I've read mixed reviews about that; it all depends on exactly where in FW you're staying. But with more than one person in your party, I think that staying at FW would be a hoot. By all means, go for it! :joyfull:

I like all kinds of food; not every dish, per se, but I love the fusion of different flavors from around the globe. :hungry:

Indian food is very tasty; I just make sure I don't get anything that's hot and spicy, but the milder curry dishes are delicious! I love Chinese food, and also Thai: shrimp and chicken pad thai is one of my favorite meals at a restaurant. Can't remember the exact name of most ethnic dishes I've enjoyed, but usually, I'm never disappointed trying new ones as well.

The reality is that, (similar to @Wrangler-Rick 's horses, I guess you could say . . . ;)), once I put on that feed bag, I just start chowing down the food and enter a world of bliss! :D :joyfull:

I have one Christmas mug that stays out all year long. I bought it the First Christmas we spent in Disney, a gift I brought back for everyone that year. Didn't have Christmas decorations up that year cause we gone for 2.5 weeks so it never got put away. 19 years later it is still out. A Mug brings those memories right back, drinking from it this morning.

Oh Yum. I have not made beef roast in a while, because of your description I will be soon. :hungry: I also serve baked potatoes and carrots with it and Wonder Bread. We all love gravy soaked bread. We usually tuck it under the beef and when the last of the meal is slurp'd up we will add a bit more gravy to the bread slices and polish off the meal that way.

While the beef roast is great and the sides what I mastered is the doctoring up of the gravy, Liberty Inn recipe was the template. I add a rue to make the gravy richer, the drippings after slicing and a little bit of gravy boost. End result the gravy is smooth, thick, dark and very rich. Perfect for gravy bread.

I promise to take when we make one sammich. But might take time as our kitchen is still full of food XD
My fridge is packed too with my big New Years meal in there that was meant to pick at for days plus I still have 1/3 of the stuffed pork roast meal in there. Garbage day on Monday. I will though take the ham bone and likely make pea soup (with bacon) early next week.

it wasnt a hygiene product right?

You were on a roll there last night.....:jawdrop::joyfull:

It starts slow, but it picks up after episode 3.
I dont think many will like it, but I like the drama of the royals. Has a "clue" type feel when something goes wrong.

Downton Abbey is incredibly popular but you're right it takes a few episodes.

Shows like this you have to stick with at least 4 episodes, they are trying to create an episode but need to cram the back story of all the characters. When there are so many, it takes a few episodes for it to start to flow.
