Families are tough. But sometimes made more tolerable with alcohol.

The fact that I am of legal drinking age probably will give me much more tolerance for many relatives on my mom's side of the family. I pretty much like, or at least tolerate, my dad's side. Last time my mom and I were around her relatives, we both came home and had a glass of wine.

Of course, my uncle called today in part to tell my mom that their dad enjoys his alcohol a little too much and a little too often..ugh. Family drama

My guess is the GrandFather has to be getting up in age, at that point who the heck cares. Maybe he needs it to cope with family.

Ha! I have stretched that sanity thing to the limit this month...my Mom is just whack-o and when she isn't she just delegates, to me.

We saw Finding Dory. Really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as Nemo, but nothing ever could be. It was a good novie, though.

There is a post credits scene which is hysterical, so stay to the end.

Im going to be paranoic these days, since Dory is not in my country until next month x_x

You don't understand. They don't like Lou's thin, either. And I find Domino's marginally less objectionable than Papa John's.

That is actually interesting, Because technically domino's is the second worst in my country.

We leave 7:30 am on the 21st. I just checked in early online, at the 24 hour mark.

For the most part I think Disney gets to do whatever it wants. They make a token nod to whatever the cause or impact is questioned in the presentation and they get what they wish.

My HERE is where I live. Zoning is generally dictated by the specific town or city you live in. There are state and federal laws for Churches, Schools and affordable housing that superceed but basic zoning like fences is a very local thing. We can only go 4 feet solid, 5 feet open (like chain link fencing or lattice), towns around us will go up to 6 feet solid, every place is different.

You know, there was a time back in the early '80's when Domino's made pretty good pizza.
My buddy from the northeast that I roomed with the last 2 years of his UT college here from '82-'84 and I ordered tons of that stuff. Our favorite was thin crust (I don't even remember them having a thicker crust back then? ) pepperoni and onion. Whole onion rings, not diced...I can still taste it, so darn good...!!!

Thats when they started to mass produce their crusts and freezing them, dont they?

In the market for a new car....any thoughts?

I love the look of the Suburu Crosstrek but gas mileage is horrible. Well 32 highway and 21 city.

That's carpy mileage for sure! I had a 2 ton van that got almost that!

My apartment is so hot tonight that it feels like I am in a Walt Disney World resort room with an energy efficient air conditioner (not) blowing out air.

Hmm...it will be morning but I'd like two glasses of wine too to pull me through the visitation portion of my Dads services. There is a mental list of people to try and side-step. I told my Mom to skip the open bar at the wake/meal portion of the day, I told her I'd just go out of our room and visit the bar lol.

Those things are never fun. There was a woman who approached me several times at my mom's funeral to ask me to please remember to send her my mom's zucchini pickle recipe. Hopefully you can side-step the people you really can't face on that day. When is it?
