You know they will. I see @Goofyernmost, playing golf. Going to lunch with his daughter's. :D @Donald too, well he is probably having smoked meats, with the family, and Mom and Pop!:D
Nope, no golf today. The crowds on the golf course would be comparable to opening day at Harry Potter. I am going to my daughters for spare ribs and pulled chicken. And the opportunity to embarrass my children and grandchildren all in one shot. Ah, yes... it's gonna be a Good Day! ;):joyfull:

I can go to the golf course any day of the week. It's a lot cheaper on Mondays, so that is probably where I will be headed tomorrow if the weather stays good.

I think the horrible week has gotten to me. I have woke up everynight, except last night, I slept through. I haven't been able to get Lane Graves picture out of my head. I'm doing much better today, having gotten a full night's sleep.
That's honestly why I've watched Zootopia several times this week and why I was watching Everybody Loves Raymond last night. The news was starting to get to me. While absolutely horrifying, I felt like I couldn't spend the week fixating on the news. There came the point where I needed to prioritize my mental health and sleep over what was happening on the news.

I had horrible nightmares two nights ago, though. Figure it was a combination of what was going on in the news and that I was having asthma symptoms (which have since subsided). Last night I had my weird boats overturning in POTC dream. That one took place in DL this time, though.

Sympathy like. I hope the whole world is nice and quiet this week. It isn't going to happen but I hope it's better, much better. I finally watch Zootopia and I'm not sure but I think Frozen is better. I'll have to put it in today, just to compare of course:D

I think we all had this conversation before, dunno, I found Frozen way weaker than Tangled and Zootopia.

Could be because I only liked the songs and the story is heavily centered around female pair?
I even liked Princess and the Frog better.

That is a concern of mine concerning the fencing. I mentioned this on another thread... Does anyone have any idea where the gators will end up if they no longer have access to the water where their primary source of food is? What keeps them off the beaches also blocks their path to the water. So where will they end up? Perhaps outside the door to your resort? Or maybe lumbering up Main Street USA? Standing behind your car in the parking lot? Finding their way to the food carts and exposed restaurants? Again, to calm people they have knee jerked their way into building a fence around the lagoons, with no real thought about what will happen and where nature will go to feed themselves. It looks like a way to keep nature out of the populated areas, but, it equally will keep them in and hungry. Everyone needs to do the math!

From what I understand, the post and rope fences are being put up to deter Guests from going near the water, not to keep alligators out of the water. How anyone could think a post and rope fence could keep an alligator out of anywhere is beyond me.
And, I emphasize again, once they set this precedent, there is no going back. If they ever took the "fences" down in the future and there was another incident, they would be toast.
As I've posted before, nothin' but knee-jerk BS, indeed.

The spirited thread (dirty dozen) had a very interesting talk about exactly this.
And I agree.
They also are blaming the customer for having their way all the time. CMs are told to back down and approve any tantrums the visitors pull, even if they are illegal (like feeding alligators or doing stuff they should not be doing)

I'm so glad you finally got a good night's sleep! I hope tonight is even better!
Thanks, we had a nice morning with the kids. We went to TopGolf. Had some snacks. Now, a break and the Roadhouse for dinner. Hubby is currently taking a nap. Perfect father's day for him. A good burger for lunch, and a steak for dinner. I'm happy I didn't have to cook! I hope you and the Mister, and family are having a good day.

Sympathy like. What leg of the trip is getting messed up?
The first part, when we're in Wyoming. I've actually worked it out for the most part now, but I'd rather have someone to stay with there so I don't have to pay for a motel, and we won't be able to stay there as long because it gets expensive really fast when you are paying for motel AND meals, so we'll have to head down to the southern part of the state where my brother lives sooner than planned because we have friends there to stay with. But it IS worked out.

I'm figuring that some guests will use the rope to lean on, and dangle their feet in the water. I can for see more problems, if that happens.

I was uploading pictures from my son's fun run today and ran across a video of news coverage from Angel Action/Fred Phelps/Westboro Baptist Church when Matthew Shepard was murdered. If anyone wants to look: https://www.facebook.com/susan.gerritsen.5/videos/vb.567361829/10150412962136830/?type=3&theater

I'm at about 30 seconds and my brother is right after me. I'm smiling for all I was worth because we were told to smile if we could, or at LEAST look peaceful to project love instead of hate. So that's why I'm grinning...not because I was enjoying it. That smile was rather plastered there and I had to grit my teeth a few times. Just so you don't all think "Why in the world is she smiling at such a somber occassion?"
