Same, I just want to see if it tastes good (aka being curious).

anyway, like I had said a few times. The best burger I had was a simple big ground beef burger with fresh bread in a sports bar in vancouver near the airport.
I had never remotely close to that anywhere I went (that includes WDW and Houston and Pittsburgh). I guess I need to search a proper place to get a burger that is not fast food.

Yep, it should be obvious enough by now that this Texan Ioves beef, including an awesome good ol' cheeseburger. But, that Surf and Surf burger was not piled with a bunch of carp, and it was really good...! :hungry:
Guess I'm just a bit more adventurous of an eater than some others here. Although, I hardly consider crab and shrimp "adventurous" ;)

I wasn't impressed with the "random" screening of people. Until they get enough of those detectors and screen everyone, I honestly believe (speaking for myself only here) that it's just theater. By the way, 3 days I was not randomly selected; one day I was randomly selected twice.
Pretty sure they use more behavioral analysis plus randomization to select those people for screening.
Think of it like the "lie to me" series first episode.

For anyone who's going to stay at AoA, I wanted to let you know that you don't have to use your band to get in the exit doors during the day in the Lion King Suites building 10. It was really nice to be able to just walk in without having to get the band at the correct angle. They do lock at night.
Anyone who wants one of the Lion King rooms closest to the food court, any room from 536 to 540 ground floor are good rooms. 536 or 537 would probably be best so you don't hear the exit doors opening and closing all the time.
Someone asked how long it takes to walk from the Mermaid rooms to the lobby. I walked from the laundry by the Mermaid pool to the lobby in 6 minutes. We were all the way down to the Mermaid end in The Lion King Suites and it took me 3 minutes to walk to the food court each morning. I walked through the hall instead of going out and walking on the curvy path. If you get in the building 8 of the Mermaid rooms, you will need a couple more minutes added to the time as that one is the last section. Ask for building seven or nine if you are staying in the Mermaid rooms.
It still sounds like a big trek to me lol.
It took me 5-10 minutes to get to the lobby from my DVC room at AKL Kidani. And I walk fast.. (Id say its more than 1 mile).
I ended more exhausted from walking the hotel than walking the parks :hilarious:

Would you please tell me how to upload a picture? When I try, it asks for a url or something like that. The only way I can upload a picture directly is the avatar. Can I go straight from my picture files?
when you click reply, you will see 3 buttons lined on the bottom of the typing area.
you just use "upload a file".
Once you select the image, it will be loaded.
You will then see a new list on the left, right where you're typing.
you just have to click "insert full image" and the image will be uploaded and inserted in to your reply.
