Thanks, Bet's! :)

Actually, probably no more demanding than most others schedules here. I put in my 40-ish hours at the firm every week, do those clothing store closers, take care of stuff around the house (yard work, cars, etc.) and still usually am able to get on here for a decent amount of time most days. Not to mention our fairly recent trips to the Texas coast, NOLA, WDW, Central Texas winery tours, etc. ;)
Life's good...!!! :joyfull: :)

I love your positive attitude! :):joyfull: But you did forget to mention having BBQ and beer in that post!

My car is back!!!!!!!! after 3 rentals in a month plus.

1) brakes were not very good
2) air pressure - tire leak
3) thank god I only had it for a few days (it was a Dodge)

I like to thank you all for supporting me in this very difficult time while I had to wait for Honda to ship airbags. I never realized how good my car runs after 6 years after having those 3 rentals.

Hahaaa...!
Although brakes and a leaking tire are ancillary stuff, and not necessarily reflective of the manufacturer, the only way I'd ever drive another Chrysler product again is if they paid me (a lot) to. We've owned a '90 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, and an '01 Dodge Grand Caravan...by far, the biggest pieces of garbage we've ever owned. I'll pay to drive the Honda in a heartbeat...! :)

I think that was @StarWarsGirl .
Yup. Worse than I thought too. I was at the Orioles game last night, and it was absolutely throbbing. I took Advil, and it barely touched it. I had been thinking about getting a glass of wine anyway, and once it was throbbing, I was like, "Wine." Which actually really helped and I haven't need painkillers since then. Not that alcohol is great for that purpose, but at least it stopped hurting enough for me to enjoy the game.

The increase seems like pocket change, compared to the Disney increases over all. Just my opinion. Our DVC dues, just keep rising. Hubby and I want to hang on, for a few more years, for our daughter and grandson's. I suspect when they go to UNI, we will all be out of Disney. It's getting to be too many hours on a plane for me. I have very poor circulation to my legs. This was a plague for my mother, and all her sister's. Time does change what we can do. And with the planes, putting people into ever increasing danger, with poor seating, no leg room. It's the reality that @Goofyernmost, and I are facing. I will soon be out, for traveling. I'm sad, but at my age, I'm thankful that I lasted this long. My parents last trip was at 70, on a plane. Hubby's parents traveled in their mid 60's, on a plane. We all age at different rates. Disney is too much walking, now. I refuse to go to an ECV. I see, that it's a nightmare to operate, and put's other visitor's at jeopardy, especially small children. I have always faced reality head on, and continue to do so. We will continue to travel, with more short flights. And look for new things around us. Living in the Colorado area, limits how far we can go. I'm looking forward to a trip to Austin, Texas and enjoying the food they are so famous for. Thanks to @donaldtoo, for keeping me up to date about the food scene. I expect to meet you and DWifey, for a maragarita, in the not to distant future. ;):hungry::hungry::hungry:

So sorry about the flying issues. I take at least one 325mg aspirin tab before we fly these days. Sometimes two, for a potential DVT situation. Never had a problem, so far...

If y'all are really heading here, just let us know when! That would be awesome! DWifey and I would be more than happy to meet y'all over some BBQ, Tex-Mex, etc., and a Margarita...!!! :joyfull: :)

So Happy Friday the 13th. :grumpy: I tripped at my daughter's school and hurt my ankle. After a hospital visit I am now in a soft cast. ::facepalm: There's no "Happy" this 13th!!!!

Oh my. Sympathy like.
As I've posted before, I broke the calcaneous bone on my left foot on the end of a diving board on a Friday the 13th when I was 13 years old...!
So very much hope it heals up soon...! :)

Well, it's taken two times house sitting for my neighbors, but their cat finally decided she likes me. When I first stayed there, she never came out of the basement, and I had to bring treats if I needed to scoop her litter box, or else I'd be in trouble. She hissed just about every time I saw her. This time, she trusted me enough to be upstairs more, and I would just talk to her and give her treats for the first few days, and then she'd let me pet her a little bit. Then, last night, late at night, she started meowing. I went over to see what was wrong. It turned out she wanted to be petted. She purred loudly when I gave her some attention. Well, took ya long enough cat.

oh, I tough you only had issues with mosquitos.

It is the mosquitos that have me concerned. I watched the West Nile virus have its toll on living things and this newest virus seems to be worse. But the bonus is the liquid also takes care of the ants and fleas. Now come August and fall season, the worst here for fleas I will spray. It does help as it helps Walt not get infested but we also have wild critters that are day or night guests.

I wonder if at this rate, you will need to buy a full yatch to navigate your flooded neighborhood.. :O

All the grass is squishy. The back of my property where the garage is on one side is still a lake. My neighbors property is still holding water back there too which generally doesn't happen for this long, like she has a little canal happening back there. This keeps up and we will have a very early mosquito season. From my house itself my property is pitched to the back and up front pitched to the road. The River is still over and high by my DD apartment however her building sits high so-so far all is good there too.

Any room in your budget for seats with a little more leg room, usually seats in the bulk head area or even the exit row offer more leg space. Sometimes a bump to business or first class is somewhat affordable. I can understand not wanting to use a ECV I wouldn't want to drive one around either.

A couple weeks ago I saw a woman around my age that had some issues, maybe MS in a folding wheelchair/electric. It was also aluminum like the light weight bicycles. Way cool. I'd like to see Disney go to something similar. I find some guests with ECV to be far more dangerous that the stroller brigade. If they went to the electric wheelchair type rental vehicle guests might be a tad more careful as you risk hitting people with your own legs or them landing on you where in the ECV there is a lot of vehicle in front of the driver.

That is beautiful. Have you considered doing it for a living?
I might have considered it for about 5 seconds, but I'd need a much bigger kitchen and a lot more time!! LOL It's fun for a hobby, and I enjoy doing it for friends, but I can't imagine doing that every day. Might be good for me, though, because I would probably never want to eat cake myself ever again!

My district has a football team, well they have a bunch of guys wearing pads and helmets all in the same colors LOL. I think they may have even won a game or 2 this year. Our competition academic teams always do very well:joyfull:
When I graduated from high school, our football team was on its 7th year of a losing streak. We did well in basketball but our football team was hopeless.

Good morning my farm market is going to be open this afternoon! It's spring so I don't expect to find much but at least it's going to be open:joyfull: Winter is officially over in my neck of the woods:joyfull:

Wow! Ours around here do not open until the first weekend in June. Even then not much to see, many vendors don't even occupy their spots until a few weeks after that.

Walt is very perceptive. He knows the warning signs. Suitcases and piles. Walt suffered through his people leaving him his whole life with my kids being in college, my DS even when Walt came to us. Suitcases make him sad, goodbye's make him sadder even if we are not all leaving him alone. Walt has never gone off to camp like all of my previous dogs had. Money was tighter while my kids were in college and the recession didn't help. Walt's best friend lives across the street, the only people Walt loves more is Grandma and my DS. He will let Walt out, Walk Walt, give Walt treats and even take him on field trips to his house when all of us gone. Last time we came home from Disney it was in the middle of the night due to bad weather. Walt was deep in dreamland. We had to wake him up and I got a look like what the heck until he finally his brain woke up. That's Walt.

Have a great trip, can't wait to hear your recap when you return.
Thanks for the Walt stories, I have adopted him in my heart. :inlove::inlove::inlove:

Tequila works well for migraines. I can't take migraine medicine. It gave me ulcers long ago. Much too harsh for my stomach. The tequila is always taken when eating a lot of saltines. Tried crackers, with the migraine headachemedicine, and I got a horrible, burning in my stomach.
