They've split, got back together, split, got gack together, etc. etc. many times through their marriage. We'll see if this is really the end. I've seen him a lot over the years and all I can say is Ozzy's awesome.

Ozzy and his granddaughter
The question, are they for real? or they are just to grab headliners?
Reminds me of the planned split between Hulk Hogan and her Wife to protect his fortune after the dumb accident of his son. Then the supposed feud.
UNTIL the cheating video came online.

The Depression Era brought out some strange behaviors years after the fact, because people couldn't shake the memory of how they were so deprived of many things back then. One of my grandmothers was a prime example of that, much to the amusement of my family, while we were kids growing up. No matter where she went, she'd always ask for a "brochure" of the place, and if they had any books of matches. (Back then, so many people smoked, and most places had books of matches, listing the name of the business and address.)

Just so you know: my grandmother did not smoke, but she had drawers full of matches and brochures  . (And let's not forget about the fire hazard of all these items together. My father had a cow one day when he opened a few drawers in her kitchen, looking for a potato peeler, and all he found were brochures and matches!! :p :D ) Yup, post-Depression stress syndrome!!

Oh my, yes. Both sets of my grandparents saved and repurposed so many things. It actually used to amaze me, in a good way. :)

I find Sharon to be the awesome one. I wonder if he would even be here if it wasn't for her having his back.

The grandchild is cute. Hopefully she is young enough to not be aware just yet.

Yeah. If the reason for her split this time is what is being said you might be right on target. I hope her time off does her some good. Clearer heads generally prevail.Time will tell.

Yep, Proposition 1 vote happened on Sat. I think Lyft stopped service in the city limits at 5a, and Uber at 8a. I've never used either, and the last time I took a cab was in NYC back in '89. Mayor wants to meet with reps from both companies, I heard on the radio this morning. Have no clue how it will all eventually shake out.

And, yes, the city wants to charge hotel/motel taxes to those who rent their homes, outbuildings, etc., during events like ACL, SXSW, etc. Don't really know how that will all play out either...or, maybe it already has...? Not really sure. Neither item is really on my radar.

I've used Uber in the city, it is far less terrifying than our taxi system and my DS does a great deal. Last I heard MCO doesn't allow either. I use the buses and train within the City often but if there is more than 2 of us Uber is much cheaper. Gotta say though I like the idea of finger printing and background checks. They are not overly expensive or time prohibitive. My DD had to have both in college to tutior at a high school while she was down at her University. Both of my kids had background checks done to work for their park district jobs. My comfort level would be higher with finger prints/background checks. Surprises me that is a sticking point for Lyft and Uber.

You're right on Uber, they are not allowed to go FROM MCO, but they can deliver you to MCO.
I still read some news that they're going for a compromise (probably means Uber will pay a big hike to the airport to let them pick up visitors, still cheaper than the MEARS cabs for sure)

The one compliment I can extend to DS is in the area of new restaurant options, both QS and some very interesting looking TS restaurants. And with many of the (on-site) WDW hotel guests selecting the various meal plans, I think there is a need for expanding the selection of restaurants across WDW's properties.

I agree. I just wonder how many groups on dining plans will take time away from the parks to use dining credits at Springs. It isn't really easy or quick to get there and TS takes a chunk of time on top of the commute. Likely why when I need a meal there it is Earl.

I'd consider Uber over Magical Express going back to the airport even though I would need to pay. I could still check my baggage through in the morning but not have to be loaded 3+ hours in advance to head to the airport.

Good morning . It's sunny this morning, more thunderstorms this afternoon. Just the garden variety, so no biggie. I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day. We went to the Cheese Cake factory. Then back to the kids for games. It was a lot of fun. We play a game called illustrations. Each person gets a card and must draw what the word or words say. I got the word tornado. Daughter got it and drew a tornado grandson tried to draw a tornado. Son in law thought he drew a tea pot, lol. Son in law drew a tea pot. Other grandson thought the picture was a goat. We laugh so hard playing this game, just to see how the pictures evolve. It's a fun game, if you like playing games.
Sounds fun! Living vicariously...what did you have at the Cheesecake factory? I love their mashed potatoes!!

I remember the days, when we would go shopping. Gloves were part of that, along with a nice dress. We always, had to dress up for church, along with a hat. I don't miss that time at all. I value being comfortable, at all times. That includes jammie day too!
Me too! I love jammies. My MIL gets really upset by the idea of staying in PJs all day. If we spend the night there, she insists on the kids being dressed by 9 or 10 a.m. I can't figure out what she's afraid is going to happen if we're in our PJs after that...like we're going to turn into pumpkins?

I use to think that too but over the last several years the amount of solo adult guys I've seen waiting to meet the young princesses has surprised me. I don't recall the volume of that demographic when I or my children were little. Rarely was Princess M&Gs queues filled with anything but parents with their own little princesses up to the age of 8-10, then even the preteen gals viewed that activity as lame. I think my kids stopped doing autograph books around 8 years old. So I've seen a sway in what interests some adult men at Disney Parks.
Well, Violetta isn't a princess. The show is about a teenage girl with an overprotective father. Her mother died in a stage accident...she was a singer. So the father won't let Violetta have anything to do with music because he's afraid he'll lose her, but all she wants to do is sing and dance, so she has to hide it from her father.
