I came back from church around 11:00 this morning, and turned on the Disney parade. I was less than enthused; it wasn't what I had hoped for. Wasn't interested in the headliners, but what I disliked the most was the big 2-hour commercial, where they showed all the properties, cruise lines, etc. (not to mention too much of Frozen . . .). Silly me, I thought I was going to see a nice Christmas parade down Main Street in WDW and also Disneyland as well. Maybe the first hour had that? Again, I only saw it from 11=12 and wasn't impressed at all. :(
Agreed. I kept thinking where in the heck is the parade? It should have been named The Frozen Christmas SingAlong. Yeah, I'm sooo over Frozen.

Heh, heh . . . I like that. So I was thinking. o_O Since most people can barely tolerate the lion's share of their rellies, do you think that since families are bound together by blood lines, that the DNA gets all messed up, the more it gets spread around?

In other words, we all like "some" rellies, and we all have our friends, outside of the family. Hence, are we meant to be attracted to just a few people who are, in the same blood line, and similar to us; but then the rest of the blood line relatives all seem crazy to us, and we want to run for the hills??!! So, we seek friendship and "normal" people outside of the family, who have completely different DNA? Is this thought of mine goofy? :D See what happens when I take a day off from work? :p :hilarious:

Most definitely. You've seen me comment about my DH 2 brothers married to 2 sisters (codependency nightmare) Think of the DNA of those spawn from those pairs of parents. The DNA has to bounce to near siblings having the same genetics with both the mother and fathers. Oddly my favorite relative on that side, which really isn't blood is the father of those 2 sisters that married into the family. While others run around making things as complicated and as stressful as possible-Papa and I would just sit off to the side together and observe the nutty. We being each others salvation. He passed 2 years ago and I still really miss him.

I've been there awhile already. It is reminiscent of my youth, still love Moody Blues but Knights in White Satin, oy.
Same with American Pie, so overdone for so long. Odd enough I never got that way with In a Gadda Da Vida but it was also a classic long before I knew what it was.

I put my house back together today. Livingroom and Kitchen, no signs of Christmas yesterday. Sadly didn't finish the familyroom. Hopefully tomorrow. It is all that stuff that needs to find homes. Can't put it away until it has a home.

Twitter is a dangerous place for some....

I was reading today the Neil deGrasse Tyson Christmas Day tweets. Wonder if all the attention is what he was craving on his Thursday?

Yep, I can't believe Disney calls that a parade anymore. Less and less parade every year to the point where they don't even attempt to trick the audience into believing they are watching a parade anymore.

I found it more interesting to see how the sets were placed to disguise the hub construction along with the amazing editing giving how bad the weather was. They certainly didn't want to advertise rainy Florida vacations.
