Thank you all. :inlove:

Well he failed the test this morning. The specialist brought in by the cardio doc stated that he had to pass test before they could try and shock his heart back into rhythm. So they didn't do it and the meds they were pumping into his arm to keep the heart in rhythm are not working. The test showed multiple small blood clots and one big one in his heart and that is with him being on blood thinners for years already. So we are all kinda processing while not really wanting to process. Meanwhile he is being as difficult as can be in the hospital.
Difficult is the nice word the staff is tagging him with. Joy Joy :banghead:
I'm so sorry!! So what do they do now? What is the next step? Do they up his blood thinners? Do they put in a stent? Do they do surgery? Sending pixie dust and prayers!

Yeah, I warned them within minutes of him getting a room. This is the 4th time in under 10 years with him and 2 of the times he was admitted for a couple months. He is a known entity and I'm sure his chart is inches thick. Still I am equally annoyed that they kept releasing my Dad without completing tests to diagnose what the issue was over the last month.

Your Mom sounded like a great patient. My Mom too just wants to rest when she is ill and requires little attention. Neither of my experiences with childbirth were good either. My DS was over 9# and I was in the hospital for 5 days. My DD was a bit smaller than that but she wound up in the NIC unit so there I stayed too till they released her. The staff was overworked and they were not nice or considerate. I was actually asleep as one nurse attempted a blood draw in my arm. What did she think was going to happen when I was startled awake and moved? Dimwit.
Like shoving a needle in your flesh isn't going to wake you up? What was she thinking! I think most people would come up swinging!

The photo's of this is still cracking me up. She could have killed someone and the world is blessed they got her before she hurt anyone. Still to manage to have that tree upright on her car and drive like that I am still in awe of the whole event. Boy the world is full of crazies.
Not to mention she drove with the airbag deployed as well...airbag in her face and a tree sticking out of her car. How did she get ANYWHERE? What a miracle that no one was hurt.

Quick question - so Throwback Thusday has become a thing on Facebook. Everyone posts pictures from whenever in their past they want to. You all know I am shameless and I just post Thrrowback Thursday here anyway ----sometimes not even on the correct day - even though last night was Wednesday, I posted a Thoeback Thursday ---- Wine glass, I blame you!

Ummmmm....errrrr....annnnnnnnnnyway.........the point is - if I started a Throwback Thursday (Disney style!) thread on here would any of you actually post to it, or would it just sink to the bottom of the WDW Magic sea?

Might be fun, but lemme know!

;)
Disney style...does that mean all pictures are Disney related?

I'm so sorry to hear this. I can't live without eggs or egg beaters, basically egg whites. It has a lot of protein for seniors, have to always watch cholesterol. Getting along in years, is the pits. Except for senior discounts, none in Disney, but a few in my town.;)
I'm amazed every time we go to Disney on how well they accommodate my wife. If a recipe requires eggs, they will substitute them with something you would have never guessed and you can't taste the difference. Honestly, this is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to the world so my wife doesn't have to sacrifice the taste or even worry about whats in the recipe on the menu at other restaurants. It's truly flabbergasting when you go to a restaurant outside of WDW how little the people that work in the kitchen actually know whats in the recipe.

I went out with hubby and in the sun, it is wonderful, but those winds are cold, to me. Why doesn't our area have a calm day anymore? I live in the Denver area too, higher than that , but near.
You know I can handle all types of weather but wind is the one thing that just beats you down mentally. It could be 75 degrees (perfect in my mind) and the wind just makes it horrible. I guess we have to sacrifice some calm days for the views we have of the mountains.

I could easily be a vegetarian. There are few veggies that I do not love. The problem is I LOVE LOVE LOVE and crave meat. Solution I eat both. :hungry:
LOL How in the world could you be a vegetarian if you "LOVE LOVE LOVE and crave meat"? It was actually kind of funny (in a bad situation) about 5 years ago I had a major health scare (diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer) and they put me on a meat only diet for 3 weeks after my surgery. And as much as I love meat, I was ready to eat nothing but vegetables when those 3 weeks were up. My wife was going crazy during that time....well I guess it could have been that she was scared for me and the cancer but I want to say it was because of how much steak we cooked in that time.

I'm doing a little ketchup so I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but there is a throwback Thursday thread in the pictures forum.
