good morning it's above freezing, the wind is just about gone and it's going up near 60. A great day to be out and about. Sorry @betty rose no time to make cerviche for you today.
HELP! I'm having an identity crisis. Over in the N & R sections I was called a "Person that thinks that no matter what decision Disney makes, I agree with" and in the same thread I was called a Gloom and Doomer. I am going crazy trying to figure out how I can be both at the same time. Perhaps I have a Jekyll and Hyde syndrome that I am unaware of.
This photo is beyond beautiful
And who forgot to tell the DS that the color T-Shirt of the Day was to be Gray?

No, right now it is only on single day tickets. No one has convinced me how it can possibly work on multi-day tickets. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I have no plans to go in the near future anyway. If you want to be bigger then Disney don't follow this lead. Expand your parks, have at least one more gate and wait for the crowds to arrive. If you build it and avoid the Disney lead... they will come.
You see... the thing is Gold is a heavy metal.
This looks like the crowds at Disney. I love the cat walking away in front, his expression seems to say, I've had enough of all the crowds!
But I like McDonald's.Golden years is a nice way of saying time to avoid the golden arches
Not me.But I like McDonald's.
We've had rain on our warm days. Except for today. And I've had a horrible cold for days and can't even go outside for a walk to enjoy the weather because I'm too sick. Hopefully I'll be better Tuesday so maybe I can go for a 20 minute walk in between classes.I'm sad. Today it was in the 50's but the winds again so strong that it felt nasty cold. Tomorrow again near 60 but the winds again are to be very strong. Negates the warmer temps. So not fair!
Sympathy like. Stay in bed, get some rest, drink lots of water and get well soon. xoxoWe've had rain on our warm days. Except for today. Have you seen the price hike thread?I appreciated Roy's ability to give Walt a reality check. While Walt had a vivid and wild imagination the dude really did lost touch with reality. Walt was the creative genius, Roy had the wherewithal to be able to differentiate the possible vs hairbrained, over the top bad concepts.
Where I give Roy credit is his ability to tame Walt's original concepts and direct imagineers to revise the concepts into something physiable. Jungle Cruise, Walt's concept vs Roy/Imagineers. Amazing original concept but not at all a good working plan. End result after combined efforts a solid attraction for the 1950's. Walt's concept for EPCOT, well he needed an island and his own country to pull that off. Let alone his overall concept for all of WDW, he wanted to be the emperor vs a CEO. I give Walt some credit though. He did kinda build his own Government in the swamp land that lives on today, it continues to baffle me how that relatively small chunk of land in the big picture anyhow molds and shapes their own little empire of a government still in this millennium. I have a great deal of admiration for Roy, his loyality to his brother, his ability to talk the dude down off the cliff and still be able to implement a realistic attraction/park reflecting Walt's creative ideas.
Without Roy I highly doubt we would have near what we all enjoy today. Likely if everything was imagineered the way Walt wanted it he would have bankrupted Disneyland.
I hope to someday.. visit the Cat Island and Bunny Island in Japan XD
It existed. Disney asked George Lucas for the rights to do the ride, and Lucas said yes. I think Star Tours opened very soon after DHS did.
The newest incarnation opened in 2012.
Well, my cold is now an ear infection. Feeling much better with the antibiotic, though.
In other news, the kitchen is getting back to normal. The walls need painting, but my parents haven't picked out a color yet. They want to live with everything for a while before deciding. I moved the cat's food out of my room. She promptly went over, sat where the bowl had been, and stared at me.
