Doesn't matter to me what his motivation was as long as he did the job he was asked to do. In most of his movies, TFA included, he was great and believable. That is all we should ever ask of a movie actor. How can he let himself get involved emotionally? Next week he will be doing something else totally unrelated to Star Wars. He probably doesn't need the money though, but, can see that promoting it and the Disney projects will be lucrative and if he truly hated it, he can afford to tell them all to take a hike. So he likes it enough to not feel that his reputation will be hurt by supporting it in promotion. Whatever his reason no one is happier then I that he decided to revive the roll of Hans... it made the movie in my opinion. :)
Pretty sure he suffers from franchise fatigue thanks to those annoying ultra fanboys of starwars.
Reminds me when some of the Star Trek actors were harassed as well, and even had to put rules when Patrick and Benedict participated in a Shakespearean show in England.
The rule was, no fan would attend in star trek attire, nor ask about star trek to either patrick or benedict.

But what the pompous fail to realize is that some thoughts are best unspoken. Unspoken helps the film you are paid handsomely to be employed by but it also helps your future reputation as being vested vs disinterested in.

OK gang, Princess 5K tutu day time...!!!!! :joyfull: ;)

So, starting out with the best of intentions to train, to eat better, to cut back on the beer, etc., for this whole thing, the reality of it is, it didn't quite go that way... :cautious: :D ;)
I gained a lot of the weight I had lost previous to the holidays back during the holidays and only lost about a third of it before the "race". I did some walking, but, not nearly as much as I should have. And, although I cut back on the beer, it wasn't by a whole lot, etc....
That being said, I finished fine, walking the entire course, and felt awesome for having participated, but, I definitely want to do better next year. I want to be able to run most or all of it next year. It was the first time I've participated in an event like this, and now I get it...!!! :)

Anyway, without further ado, and as promised...tutus.....!!!!!!! :joyfull:

As I mentioned in a previous post, there were corrals A-F. Best I can determine, there were over 10,000 participants in just this one event.
Oldest DD, SonIL, and youngest DD were assigned to A, myself to E, and DS and DWifey to F. Once assigned, you can't step up, but, you can step down. So, I stepped down to F so I could be with DWifey and DS. As I also mentioned before, we know how to fix this for next year. ;)
As a result, SonIL had already crossed the finish line while they were just queueing up our corral for our official start...!!! :hilarious:
Also, DS and DWifey blew me away and finished about 15 mins. ahead of me... ;)

Anyway, right after I finished, I joined them all in the runners retreat tent for breakfast. :hungry:

Mission accomplished...!!!
Congratumalations to you all.

i'm not saying i dislike harrison ford at all, hes one of my favourite actors but he does come across like a bit of an *** really. people would kill to be in his shoes.

still, my favourite actor is John Boyega now. he nailed TFA.
Well, if you seen him interact with John Boyega
Harrison is pretty much the grumpy grandpah and John the super excited kid. XD

I'm not really that excited about Pete's Dragon, the original wasn't that thrilling to me. Although it has been ages since I've seen it. I'm not that thrilled about the upcoming Jungle Book either, as I wasn't a fan of the animated or the live action (I think it was in the late 1990's) that has already come out.
animated you mean, I do not remember ANY other "live action" yet.

Sounds amazing. I'm glad to see you have some wiggle room in there and are flexible. Sometimes weather, exhaustion and other things play into a mega trip. The most I've done is 17 days and we've always altered something. No matter what 21 days, awesome. Can't wait to see what you have planned for each of those days and where you are looking to eat and attractions to see. So much to wish to see and do. Awesome trip.

I can see you will likely have some wiggle room on a few of those days to pack in some more things. Will you have hopper passes?

Betty rose... I have never heard you say anything negative about anybody. :jawdrop: So I guess I will accept that you are not impressed. ;) I will agree that he has the same personality, which is probably his own, in pretty much every movie he has done. Sort of like James Garner and Patrick Warburton. Just a good one for most of their projects. He (or they) probably couldn't do Macbeth, but, they are good with what they do. :)

Ahhh. James Garner in his day. yes.

Then I have to see it, I loved the movie about the reporter than didn't believe in the paranormal. Starred John Cusak. It was mostly a solo performance by him. The plot line intrigued me. It was a room number, which I can't remember at the moment. Hubby and I agree this virus is eating all that is left of our brain cells!

Did you guys get bit by mosquitoes down there in Florida? :(
