Thanks.
I always try ("try" being the operative here) to stay above the fray, but, alas, being human, it's pert near impossible all the time. ;)
When it comes right down to it, this form of communication can be "misconscrewed" ;) very easily. I know I never come here with any malicious intent, I just wanna' escape from some of the daily real life carp, and have some silly decompression time.
And, yes, I'm sure my problems are probably nothing compared to what you and @MOXOMUMD are going through, lately, but again, I'm human (I think :cyclops: ;)) too. Sorry I haven't commented on y'all's situations before this, but, I just make it a habit to try to stay out of folks personal lives, one way or the other, if at all possible.
I truly hope everything settles down for both of you ASAP.
Maybe I'm just stupid, but, I don't think anyone here ever words their posts to hurt or belittle another member. I just think we're all trying to be a bunch of silly geese, and sometimes we misunderstand.
Again, just an unfortunate consequence of this form of communication. ;) :)

Thank you for the well wishes and no need to apologize for not commenting - I kinda figured you haven't for exactly the reason you provided. :cat:

And I don't think you're stupid at all, as I feel the same way that no one here ever intentionally tries to hurt anyone else on this thread and misunderstandings can happen quite easily.

OK, here are a bunch of random DLR pics from my birthday excursion.

This was in the lobby of the Frontier Tower at Disneyland Hotel.

Grand Californian lobby

My room service lunch at GC: chicken quesadilla and strawberry cheesecake, both pretty tasty.

I thought including the palm trees next to the Matterhorn gave it a whimsical touch.:)

I think the Fast Pass distribution area for HM is my favorite.

I discovered I really like enjoying my morning coffee at Grizzly Peak.
IMG_1660.JPG

For some reason this sign made me giggle.
IMG_1668.JPG

And apparently I never knew before there was this route to Radiator Springs.
IMG_1676.JPG

Usually I get the Luigi scene, so I was happy to snap this pic on one of my RSR rides.
IMG_1688.JPG

I had booked the passholder rate for my stay, which included a free Fast Pass for each day, although I got an extra one at Grand Californian (presumably for my bday).
IMG_1696.jpg

I used one of the FPs on Hyperspace Mountain, since it doesn't have a single rider line.

This porch looks so innocent, doesn't it?

As many times as I tried, this was the only marginally decent pic.

I noticed this detail at breakfast at Storytellers Cafe.
IMG_1797.JPG

A couple of food pics - the first one at Storytellers Cafe, the second is lobster mac & cheese at Crossroads. Both decent, but nothing to write home about.

IMG_1794.JPG

And finally a couple of silly pics. This is the wallpaper in the Disneyland Hotel bathroom near Steakhouse 55.

This is my ride pic from California Screamin' with a couple who were clowning around.

Wow! That hasta' be some sort of DMV record...! ;)

Our DS is similar. He's on both the Aspreger's and autism spectrums. He's 23 and doesn't have a drivers license. Probably never will, so we keep his state ID up to date. He's very verbal, social (although he tends to blurt out awkward things), and can read like a maniac. I used to say he can't spell or do math to save his life, but, his spelling is definitely better, these days. Math, not so much. He has major issues with time and space.
He knows he's different (although we never try to make him feel that way), but seems to be mostly oblivious to it, and, mostly, OK with it. :)
Awkward is an understatement sometimes for my ds:hilarious: He can read and has gotten through all the Harry Potter books more than once. He had a great teacher who had the kids read them so they didn't feel so different when the other kids were reading them. It seemed to take forever to get through even one, but that wasn't the point, the point was to not be so different.:inlove:

Now I'm mad I payed a penny more than that. I hope gas stays at these levels for my trip. If so It will almost pay for a meal with the savings

The neighbor kids are having a snowball fight outside. Most of their snowballs are falling apart in the air. I feel like going outside and showing them how to make a proper snowball. But that would involve putting on real shoes, my slippers are more comfy. I will just judge them from the window. ;)
You crack me up! Thanks...I needed the laugh today.
