OH MY!!!
I recognized this place right away...!!!!! :joyfull:
That is Lake Travis just down the road from our house. Y'all probably remember me posting pictures from the web from a similar vantage point when all the crazy rains were filling the lake up. If you can zoom in, you will faintly see the dam in the middle left between the two trees.
How cool! What a beautiful shot!
Thanks...! :)

Yep, the strudel is pretty much the only thing I bake. Although I do crave sweets from time to time, it's probably less than your average person. I almost never eat dessert. On our last 2 trips to WDW, with my CM discounted DDP, I probably ate more desserts at a meal out (every one ;)) than I had in the previous decade.
At family gatherings, the strudel has always been the one sweet-ish (that's the other thing about it people really seem to love - it's not too sweet, just the right combination of ingredients) treat I would save some room for after all the savory BBQ, sides, etc., from the main meal.
That family recipe strudel disappears quickly wherever we take it...! :hungry: :)

Someday I will meet you and DWifey at WDW, our trips might align someday. In your carry on luggage will be a slice of the family strudel. :hungry:

We will be protected so hopefully we wont get s cold before hitting Orlando.

It is about half that here so it isn't quite freezing. Hope you're off to the parks early tomorrow and get your room at OKW quickly tomorrow. Pixie Dust.

Beautiful! :)

Very much reminds me of our Trail of Lights here in Austin's Zilker Park. Years ago, when the kiddos were little, it used to be a drive through display. Attendance became so high, it has been a walk through for years now.
And, get this...NO JOKE...they now offer a Fastpass...! :hilarious: It gets you in an hour before those that haven't purchased one.
I posted a bunch of pics last year, but, unfortunately, we didn't get there this year.
Need to fix that next year. :)
Wonder how far in advance We need to make the Fastpass reservations... o_O :D ;)

The pictures didn't do the lights justice. It was beautiful. Reminded me of the original Osborne Lights. Strolling along and taking in the lights.
Amazing what communities do for free.

I meant to mention in that post that the Trail of Lights has always been free...with the exception of the new Fastpass.
Still cracks me up...!!! :hilarious:

Reminds me of the homes near my folks. Some of the wealthier folk having their homes all tricked out like Osborne Lights, computerized. So Ugly by day but amazing bye night. Most have a donation box to a local charity outside the home so it is a win win. Sadly the neighborhoods have fought it similarly to Osborne, not wanting the disruption to family life in their neighborhoods. So it might be gone in the future. Sad. Understand. Still sad.

Same here, I almost never ever eat sweets but I do bake. I also almost never drink at home but on vacation I turn into @BuddyThomas' twin sister so Disney better start stocking up now LOL

so far.. not so magical, at least got vouchers for food and hotel. still.. its going to be insane, waking up at 4 am or so.. getting to the shuttle by 5, then to the flight at 7 and then arrive at 9 to disney to get our ***** to old key west.
Sympathy like is too little too late. I'm so sorry to hear that, sending some pixie dust and I hope all else goes well. xoxo

Sorry about the gluten thing, but, it's a deal...! ;) :)
Don't be sorry at least I know what's going on and the changes weren't too hard to make. The tests for it came in before our last trip and my doc wouldn't give them to me until I got home as he's also a big Disney fan. Next summer will be interesting trying new food. Vegan and gluten free but I've already been over most of the menus and there are quite a few choices for me, even bread service at Sanna.
