I sure hope they are good! We have a Beatles Tribute band up here that is very good. The last I heard Love was the only original member in the current tour.

I Love The Beach Boys. My very first concert as a youngin was a double header concert in Chicago; The Chicago-Beach Boy Concert. It was beyond Awesome. Had to sneak out of the house 'cause I was not allowed into Chicago nor allowed to stay out that late ever especially as a very young teenager. My Sis was able to close some doors to make my Dad believe I came home and was in my bed.

they order 300x times more red ones than pink ones, therefore the red ones are cheaper to order (mass produced) than girls's...

but in some cases.. its stupid.
like the shaving kits.. the "for women" being 2x the price of the male ones..

I don't agree. IMO it is more akin to your example of shaving kits for women.......

996 flights in and out of O'Hare have been canceled. The inbounds are running 7.5 hours late

We are flying out tomorrow, my sister in law is driving us to our airport hotel right now. It was really yucky here today. I believe our flight is fine for tomorrow. We will check once we get to the hotel.

That's awesome I love the beach boys! I have been to a few of their concerts and they were a blast!

My husband and I always speak English together, and I mostly speak English with the kids, so when we go into a store, the cashiers always hear us speaking English and some of them aren't proficient in English so they kind of panic at the thought of having to speak English to us...and then we switch to Dutch and you can just see the confusion and then RELIEF wash over their faces. It's amusing.

When myself and my 3 siblings were young (I'm the oldest), my folks would speak Czech around us all the time when they didn't want us to know what they were talking about.
As the years passed they sort of lost the language. About 15 years ago, they found out we have relatives in Prague/Praha, Czech Republic.
They planned a trip about a year out, and really started studying the language again. During the first visit, the relatives were extremely impressed. Mom and pop have back twice since.
I really need to take the time to learn the language more fluently.
Like Spanish, I only know a little.
I actually probably know more Spanish...

The roads actually weren't too bad getting here, just wet and a little rain.

I've skied there exactly once, but I've been to the village a lot. It's nice.

Have never skied Vail, but visited the village when we were at Beaver Creek. Very nice.

It is nasty here. It is now above freezing so by your reports the salt must be working. 2.5 hours to clear a driveway. Granted it is 150 feet but still it is crazy waterlogged snow filled with ice pellets.

That was my daughter's favorite book when she was little. She got a Curious George stuffed monkey from Santa one year.

We watch Curious George and Wild Kratts every morning before school.

Well, heading home from SC tomorrow.

It's the warmest trip we've ever had here. 70s every single day. Today was absolutely gorgeous.

And my aunt brought her two granddaughters (who she is raising because their parents are drug addicts) spent the weekend here. WE haven't seen them since they moved last year, and I've never seen them so happy and settled. These are girls who've basically been to h*ll and back, and you wouldn't know it to be around them. That was the best part of this trip.
