I probably won't be on much after this morning. Got to go to the store to get ingredients. Finishing wrapping a couple presents. Do the Christmas Eve prep work and cooking on Christmas morning. I'm glad hubby helped me with a plan this year. So I don't get rattled!
know the feeling, I'm probably going to help mother finish the last dishes.
also planning how to keep the christmas drama free.

I remember Epcot having an opening ceremony back during YoaMD (not sure if that was what it was associated with or not) when we were there back in July of '07.
I don't remember everything it entailed, but, it was out by the fountain area, and there were characters, and there was a family they had chosen riding around in a Test Track car.
I remember us liking it a lot...! :)

Yeah, I think the one during the day was Mickey's Sorcerer and by night was funny, it was actually the park theme music for Tokyo Sea's not WDW something most fans caught quickly.

I didnt used a random taxi.. AKL crew called one for me.
And it was 52 to Artegnon and 54 back to AKL (both were mears)

Sadly that sounds about right. I've paid almost $30 to go from AKL to the Contemporary. I paid $23 to send my DS from POR to Disney College Housing which was on the other side of DTD. This is why many rent cars, I'm just not one of them. Or you can become a local:

$2 one way-I've known people who have taken Lynx from MCo to DTD and then Disney Bus to Swan and Dolphin if you are budget minded.

That is why the van is often better as it is shared, operated like the magical express. We started renting a towncar from Mears to take us to Uni and then Uni to Disney 'cause we would have to purchase 4 tickets on the shuttle for our family. Transportation is very expensive in Orlando.

I'm hoping Disney will bring back some of that magic.

Yep, Future World is a neglected, dated area. Fixable if they so choose to. I know they stage corporate events out of the top of the Imagination Pavilion, within Wonders of Life and in the Odyssey along with some hard ticket events. Me, I'd be hard pressed as an organisation to rent out any of these buildings for an event given the blatant neglect to those buildings. When the National School Board Convention is in Orlando some of the vendors rent out Uni in the evening and the food offerings are amazing.

What I always found is that watching TV while making sleepy-time tea does nothing to make you fall asleep. That happens after you turn off the TV, finish the tea and lie down with your eyes closed. That seems to work every time for me. So the sooner the better.

I have a very hard time sleeping in quiet. I don't watch TV during the daytime hours but always have a radio going or music playing. Even when I walk Walt by myself I have headphones in one ear.

I have not had problems sleeping for a while but it is the time of the year where there is so much to do and little time to finish it off. Right now this is my chill break before I get back to straightening the house and wrapping some gifts. MySis and her family will be here in the morning likely with my Mom. I envy my Sis. She has a housekeeper. She cleans, does laundry along with changing the beds.

Has anybody ordered something from the Disney App? I ordered something 6 days ago and the app says it still hasn't been shipped? Though knowing it was Disney, I probably should have ordered earlier.

Shipping time frames indicated by Disney are
Ground: 10-20 business days
Express Air: 3-5 business days
Economy Air: 4-7 business days
Alaska and Hawaii may take additional days.
