I have a very hard time sleeping in quiet. I don't watch TV during the daytime hours but always have a radio going or music playing. Even when I walk Walt by myself I have headphones in one ear.

I have not had problems sleeping for a while but it is the time of the year where there is so much to do and little time to finish it off. Right now this is my chill break before I get back to straightening the house and wrapping some gifts. MySis and her family will be here in the morning likely with my Mom. I envy my Sis. She has a housekeeper. She cleans, does laundry along with changing the beds.
I usually have the TV on during the day, but, not because I need the noise. I'm just to lazy to shut it off most of the time. Now at night, that's a different story. I have a constant ringing in my ears from my days in the printing business and the silence of night time is anything but silent. It's like a bugle blowing in my ear. One of my odd blessings is that I have sleep apnea. With the C-Pap running I have my own private white noise machine. When walking I never like music playing, I like to listen to the birds and other natural noises (like horns blowing from passing cars). I'm always afraid that at some point someone is going to yell out.. "Look out behind you" and I'm not going to hear it because I have The Beatles at top volume. :jawdrop::joyfull:

I thought that someone might find this interesting:

I find it totally fascinating how much they have changed and how little I have! ;)
Lovely family. Nice to finally put a face to your personality too!

And I kid you not - your daughters look French-Canadian. You done good. :)

I'm trying to figure out if that was a compliment or an insult. Not that there's anything wrong with being French. I know what you mean though, however, they are only about 20% French-Canadian, the rest is English (mostly), Irish, Native American and scattered mongrel. :) Their Mother is English/Irish-Canadian.

Yes, they are lovely and have been wonderful kids all their lives. I am truly lucky. Now that you have a face to put with the personality I must ask... Does it match?

Hmmm. Well this is an interesting twist. You'd be the fifth. We'd need an addition. I'm thinking given my fondness for your Dwifey, she could be the addition and she could grant you the status into our little clan. Do you vacuum?

Accepted...! And yes, I need her with me.
I guarantee you I was, and DWifey would verify, the best Vaccum Technologist ;) our home, or The Disney Store EVER had.
Even when I did it as a Lead Manager along with all my other duties while another CM was rebuilding Plush Mountain, I kicked beeeeehind. All 3,000 sq. ft. of it (minus fixtures). Kinda' like mowing a yard. :)
Always satisfying to see that colorful carpet fluffed and spotless-ish again at the end of the day...! ;)

I browsed a little, there are very few images of the older chef mickey.

I have them somewhere. We did this for about 5 years until they booted it. You might find more if you google Chef Mickey's Village Restaurant. It was a fine dining place Village Restaurant before that.

We also took my DS to the Character breakfast on the Empress Lilly before this one opened. Great entertainment on the EL for little kids, it was a little stage show and then they came around and greeted the tables. The food was awful but I'll never forget Pluto pretending to lick my DS 14 months old and him flipping out in his high chair. I'll look for them after Christmas.

That's why I'm trying to talk my boys into going there. They really don't want to eat there. I've never had a problem getting into Fantasmic but I like to get the package:hilarious:

We just did a regular FP for Fantasmic first show. Worked well. We have done Brown Derby for Fantasmic but frankly I don't find Brown Derby worth the price. I'm not impressed.

There are many places around here that serve excellent/very good hot and sour soup, others meh.
I only remember having a really bad one from takeout once. They've been out of business for years now.

Some chicken soups have tasteless broth. The only soup I could not swallow is from Panera which normally whips up a good soup. It was their Autumn Squash. It had the taste and consistency of jarred baby food. After a few spoonfuls I dumped it off at the plate return and went and ordered a salad. So disgusting.

How could you even ask that? Looking Anything-Canadian is a huge compliment!

As to your face matching your online personality? Busted. You're a lot less cranky and curmudgeonly than you would have us believe. Ha! I, for one, knew it.
