Oh yes. There are some awesome local bakers. Our supermarkets just don't do a great job.
I think that's the difference. At a bakery, it would still be homemade. But the prepackaged stuff with tons of preservatives and such...yuck. I'm wary here any time a restaurant advertises "American" anything. It's always prepackaged stuff...dry, dense, and disgusting. And not usually remotely like the real thing.

And yet another change in plans. The attending physician that was scheduled for my Cataract procedure went into labor and cannot be there today. (talk about being inconsiderate to a veteran)... So I'm back to a Friday appointment. (assuming with a different attending) Don't they realize that changes in schedules is a major life problem for the elderly?
know the feeling!

My doctor changed the day I was going to meet him.. 3 times in a row.. 3 different women were about to deliver their babies in a span of 5 days lol.

as in dumb people getting Darwin Award kind of accidents and then clogging the doctor's attention?
No, as in dumb staff who communicate poorly at the doctor's office.

My doctor had an emergency surgery, so he was going to be late by a lot. His secretary called my cell. I get no service on the campus, so it didn't go through. But the problem was she didn't tell the front desk staff. I get there and assume everything is fine. They take me for an x-ray, and then call me back. Then, the office secretary says my doctor isn't there. I'd already been there 30 minutes. So I go to the front to make sure I won't be charged. They say they have someone else who can see me. I wait 30 minutes, and ask how much longer. They say I'll be take back five minutes later. It was more like 10. Then, I sat in a back room for another 20 minutes before finally coming out and asking for their manager. My doctor finally gets there, goes over the x-rays, and I leave. After having a long talk with the office manager. If I had gotten there and they had told me right then that they couldn't honor the appointment, I would have rescheduled and that would have been it. I would have wasted 30 minutes at most (office is 10 minutes from school). And I wasn't the only patient there waiting forever; a woman who had an appointment right after mine commiserated with me and then also spoke to the manager. So I place the blame at his secretary's door for not telling the front desk. He's an excellent doctor, but his secretary was frequently condescending and rude to me. And never answered her phone either.

I told his manager to expect a letter from me. I'm not asking for them to reduce the bills or anything, but they really should know about the problems in their office. He's such a good doctor that he doesn't need his reputation ruined by his poor office staff.

I only do Green now. A few years ago, I was riding all the crazy rides multiple times like MS, Rock N Roller Coaster, T of T, etc. and I ended up with a case of vertigo. (I think what caused it was multiple rides on RnR Coaster, with the inversion loops--threw off the fluid balance in my ears--that's what the doctor surmised.) So to play it safe now, I still go on everything but only ride the more extreme rides once.

Just so you know, Green on MS isn't bad at all. I still think it's fun.

I'm sure it's fine, and I'll make a point to try it on our next trip.
But, I just really like feeling the g-forces of the centrifuge on Orange...! :)

I actually don't mind PT. There's one spot that just still needs work on my neck. I have trouble turning it to the left. I'd rather just take care of it than risk problems later in life.
I liked PT when I was in a second accident after being cut our of our car...was broadsided and I was the passenger. Other driver was on prescription drugs. Then a woman backed out of a parking place and I was hit again on the same side. I needed PT, it was amazing that it worked so well. I don't quite have a full range of motion, but good enough as I don't drive.

We have many of those kinds of restaurants, it's no wonder people are getting unhealthier. I wish we could stop GMO food. At least it's getting more attention, and more labels.

This seems to be happening everywhere. We just experienced this recently.

My favorite!! What a perfect picture!

By the way, is it my imagination, or is Disneyland a bit more detailed in it's themeing, than WDW? It just seems like the pictures you took had such beautiful, intricate features on all the attractions. I'm not saying that WDW is not themed nicely, but it doesn't seem to be quite as beautiful as Disneyland.

I don't know if I'd say that. I think both have tons of detail, but one thing I do notice when I go solo is that I look up more often for things to photograph. I guess we'll see when I go to WDW in January if I can capture just as much detail. :D
