I wish we had those. We get fined if we don't comply with the snow removal regulations.

The only rules we have is that you can't park overnight on the street in the winter or you can get ticketed and towed as it interferes with the city's snow removal. But why would you have to plow sidewalks yourselves? Isn't that public property? Shouldn't taxes cover it?

I think that's the difference. At a bakery, it would still be homemade. But the prepackaged stuff with tons of preservatives and such...yuck. I'm wary here any time a restaurant advertises "American" anything. It's always prepackaged stuff...dry, dense, and disgusting. And not usually remotely like the real thing.

I'm leery of the "bakeries" in supermarkets too. Even when it doesn't look prepackaged, it often is. They often take things out of bulk packaging and package it themselves and make it look like they make it there. And the cakes and things they do make are from a mix, with the icing coming in big buckets. Ick. And then they charge bakery prices often.

My favorite!! What a perfect picture!

By the way, is it my imagination, or is Disneyland a bit more detailed in it's themeing, than WDW? It just seems like the pictures you took had such beautiful, intricate features on all the attractions. I'm not saying that WDW is not themed nicely, but it doesn't seem to be quite as beautiful as Disneyland.
I'd agree with that assessment. WDW is themed beautifully, but DL has such attention to detail. When I've been, I felt like I was nearly always looking at something interesting. The theming of Carsland is also fantastic. In Cars, Filmore insisted every third blink is shlower

And in it's Carsland counterpart, every third blink is slightly slower.

I totally agree about Carsland. The Radiator Springs ride is amazing in regard to theme and realism. I swear I just want to reach out and hug Mater! :inlove:

I hoped to hit Tower of Terror one more time, but it was a 45-minute wait and I was getting hungry again. I headed back to Disneyland to see if I could get a table at Carnation Cafe (I wanted to compare their fried chicken with Plaza Inn's), but it was a 30-minute wait. So guess where I went instead? Plaza Inn, of course! No wait and this time the chicken tasted even yummier, especially with double mashed potatoes. :hungry: After dinner I checked out some shops (pics of merchandise below) on Main Street and then strolled out around 8:30pm. Definitely a great day! :joyfull:

Mugs for coffee (or whatever you wish to imbibe! :D)

The Santa Mickey would make a cute cookie jar.

It was a heavy wet snow, so it was hard to shovel. I'm not a fan of shoveling. The snow plow shovels all the street snow into everyone's driveway and it packs down. Very hard to move ice!

Yah, an ice/heavy wet snow mix is tough to move, and dangerous to either walk or drive around in. I'm not a fan of that type of mix either. I like all the rest of snow types though!
