It's a chocolate thing. Google "Tresor Cereal". THere are a couple different flavors. Chocolate hazlenut, plain chocolate, and a mix with a few different kinds. I think it's only a European thing.

I'd have probably read it on Facebook if it had been bad in Laramie. So I'm guessing it didn't make it that far north.

I think it was centered in Denver and parts south and east of Denver.

I found one of those sappy Christmas movies that has warmed my heart and has me crying like a baby. If you see it on TV, try to watch it. It's called The Christmas Choir. It's about a group of homeless men who form a choir.

We do have saltines, and something kind of like ritz or club. That's it. We have melba toast, though.

Those would actually work, with the pretzels, just pour those on a baking sheet and cook, so that they dry out. I add hot sauce, and garlic powder and onion powder, in addition to your Mom's ingredients.

Well, it's been five long months, recovery, surgery, and more recovery, but I am finally done with my injury to my left thumb. Thumb is completely healed and usable, metacarpal was cracked but has healed. Irritated with my doc tor's office because I had an appointment at 2 pm and was not seen until 4:15, but at least it was good news and I don't have to go back. Now it is time to relearn violin and teach myself viola.

So glad you are able to go back to your violin, and learn a new instrument. That's wonderful news.

Yes, indeed, Bets--you just brought me back to 1985, when my mother and I were thrilled to ride it. I still love it, but I'll never forget how my jaw dropped when I saw it moving for the first time, and then we got to ride on it. I was so mesmerized by that whole space age "feel" about it.

I still get excited to ride on it. I hope it never goes away.

I think you mentioned that your temperatures were going up this weekend. Colorado is dry, and usually the snow melts a bit quicker out there, than back here in the Northeast. At least that's what my mother-in-law tells me (she's up in the Rockies).

It does, I've been here for about 25 years, and I only remember one winter when we had snow, that stayed on the ground for over three month's. It was cold and gray that year. Drove everyone nuts. We aren't used to that.

Good morning everyone, we had a couple trees badly damaged in the snow and winds. We are under a high wind watch until 9 this morning. I forgot to mention something interesting, while we were out shoveling. We had three police cars within 200 yards of our house. One policeman stopped to ask if we had seen a couple girls in the neighborhood. We hadn't. In light of what's happening over seas. I was glad to see our police out patrolling and searching for people that apparently don't belong here.

Isn't it nice to get outdoors and shovel? I'm looking forward to it. I shovelled a ton of snow last winter!!

It was a heavy wet snow, so it was hard to shovel. I'm not a fan of shoveling. The snow plow shovels all the street snow into everyone's driveway and it packs down. Very hard to move ice!

I'm in deep shopping trouble again Sephora is coming to DTD. Between that and Basin at least I'll be squeaky clean and smell good for a while

Must have had a pretty sad and quiet life previous to that. Or it's possible that "Oldtimers" disease makes things from the past be forgotten.

I am reminded of it every time I pass by a mirror. I'm having them all removed from my house.

He really enjoyed his retirement and did a bit of traveling after 85. he wasn't to fond of the great depression and WWII

It's not great but not as horrid as yours is. 50, a bit of wind coming in with rain later. Tomorrow we'll have a few showers but it will be up in the 60s It looks like I'll have a nice warm Thanksgiving which is good because we'll be braving black Friday for the one last gift we have to get. The place we're going is crowded but nothing like what you see on television and most of the people are nice.We went last year with the boys and had fun.

Actually, I was mostly not here over this past weekend. Just needed a bit of a break.
Plus, we were doin' some other stuff on Saturday, and also had a family reunion on DWifey's mothers side of the family on Sunday. I'm tryin' to "ketchup" during lunch and in the evenings when I can, during the work week.

Still very busy at the office, and plenty of free food, as always. Guess I need to start postin' absconded luncheon munchie pics again.

I've cleaned my monitor, so I can start licking it again!
