Yeah, the Diary of Anne Frank was kind of boring. I did see it in play form and that wasn't too bad. I would like to see the Anne Frank house/annex someday though.

Actually I loved the book, but I was so uncomfortable how she had to live, and then die. It made quite an impact on me. I am a sensitive soul.

Wow neat story, I'm sure those people had a lot to share. I like hearing about the human experience of WWII as well, I could care less about military strategy though. Now that I have been to Normandy and stood on two of those beaches, it means a lot more to me.

I'm sure it does.
As you can imagine, I very much hope to visit there someday, as well.

The Ganachery is a new specialty chocolate shop that is going into Disney Springs. It sounds delish, and I bet will smell good too.

Just heard about it tonight. Doesn't it sound incredible?! I'm hoping for all kinds of interesting concoctions.

Hope your son's eye is o.k. You did the right thing by letting him decide if he wanted to stay there or come home. (Guys have their pride, and probably don't want their mother to come and pick them up in front of their pals.) I remember back when I was a kid, and my two brothers would have reacted exactly the same as your son did. Boys just like to rough-house with one another; it means nothing to them.

Unrelated to the above, but in another post you mentioned a Ganachery; I don't know what that is.

It is a high end chocolate shop. I hope it's good, I've had high end chocolates, and I still prefer Ghiradelli's. ha!

Watching an old episode of Columbo tonight. It's that kind of night. Forgot how much I loved these old shows. Might put on a Murder, She Wrote after this. Par-tay!

I like that it's created and run by Disney. Those shops always seem a little bit more pixie dusted to me.

Remember the ride at Universal about sound effects or something? I remember waiting and waiting and waiting so long and they just kept playing the theme song over and over and over again until I wanted to poke my eardrums out with a fork. But I still have love for Jessica Fletcher regardless. lol

Long time ago. We were in Acapulco in a very high end resort. We had traveled there many times for spring break but that was our last trip.

Dove chocolates are my favorite right not. I like the dark with almonds.
