Pretty looking church, I like the little doors on the pew. And the cupcakes look good too.

I hadn't even noticed the little doors until you said it! But yes, the cupcakes were good....I actually make a better basic chocolate cake than that...it was a bit dry, but the flavor was good and once I put frosting and white chocolate shavings on, it will be fantastic.

Just finished reading the first section of Night, which is about the Holocaust, for one of my classes.

I think I'll go back to reading about 16th century Spain now that I'm shaking and prepared for nightmares...

Yeah, I pretty much avoid any movies about the Holocaust. And wars. I think the worst one for me was Saving Private Ryan. Haven't seen any of the Vietnam ones, except for Born on the Fourth of July, which I didn't think was very good.

Agree.. for me the worst were THE PIANIST and SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.

that part of saving.. where the german soldier stabs the american one with the knife in the heart.. gave me chills for months.

Good morning all. Late start this morning. Hubby and I have been going through our cruise pictures. We have a list, but there are over 100, we need to hone it down a lot. Going through them, has convinced me to do another cruise instead of Disney next year. I forgot to say there is an ice skating rink, and a half mile plus, jogging track. We spent a lot of time doing that. It had a walking side and a jogging side, it was one way around the ship. Will be in our pictures.

I think you just described the QUAMTUM class and the OASIS class of Royal Caribbean.

Car failing again.. same check engine issue.
My ceiling fan somehow blew.. threw sparks and the lights went off. I tought it was just the lights.. but nope, the entire light fixture is dead.. the fan still works.. bleh.
And out of nowhere.. my left buttcheek hurts bad.. no idea why o_o

and after all I have been these months.. I hope I win the lottery someday lol..

If it makes you feel better, this is second major repair on my car in the past two weeks, the refrigerator had to be replaced the day after my surgery, I'm in physical therapy for my back from the car accident four weeks ago, and we think the microwave and oven might be going up after only three years. All happens at once, right?

I felt totally fine this morning. Then I went into work. I left an hour early. People I work wtih are probably talking behind my back about coming into work with a cold which I thought I had yesterday and apparently still do. But today, I had blocked ears, which sometimes is a good thing.

If it makes you feel better, this is second major repair on my car in the past two weeks, the refrigerator had to be replaced the day after my surgery, I'm in physical therapy for my back from the car accident four weeks ago, and we think the microwave and oven might be going up after only three years. All happens at once, right?
