All I ever need to do to have a big smile, is to look at pictures of dogs. They make me so happy!!

Me too. Love happy Pup photo's and videos. I'm loving the one of Veterans coming home or Vets being reunited with their Military Pups after they have retired from active duty. I melt.

Had dinner with my DD tonight - it's always nice to spend time just the two of us. We went to this place called Lazy Dog - good food and service, fun atmosphere, dog pics everywhere. I had the sesame crusted ahi tuna with cauliflower mash, roasted veggies, with coconut curry sauce and cilantro. Pretty yummy! Not best quality tuna, but decent. DD had chicken parm, but didn't get a pic of that.

After dinner we walked around the mall, and of course ended up at the Disney Store. I really wanted to buy this (and it's actually more lavender than pink):

I asked Mr. Bet's about this, he said we would need an inverter to do this. For the voltage (I hope I'm using the right word) it would cost 3,500$. I'll be cold lol!

OUCH! When ours went out at our former home we used a BBQ stick light to get it going.

in other news.. just returned from visiting the doctor.

She suspects I have some strong bacteria between my stomatch and my intestines.. causing my severe acid reflux and burping (aggravated by the stress I have been suffering these last 3 weeks thanks to my work)
Will have to get some blood samples and other tests before she can nuke me with medicine and treatment.

Well, homework is coming. Slowly, but coming. I've given up on the one-handed typing and am using my Surface pen to convert handwriting to text, which is surprisingly easier than one-handled typing, albeit annoying at times.

Thought I would go back to school on Monday. That is seeming less and less likely. Before this procedure, I think I forgot that minor surgery is still surgery.

I left the house today to go to PT that I need from getting rear-ended. I apparently looked like a total mess, arm in a sling, there for a completely separate issue.

Sympathy like and I'm sure you looked like a very cute mess. I hope both of your recoveries are going well.

Happy farm market Saturday! BTW I'm shouting how happy I am. It's horrid here, 39, pouring rain and windy as all get out. So why am I so happy? Easy, I'm here, which means I have power! YEA! The storm is going out to sea, again yea! On and off rain for the next few days, but we shouldn't lose power. My farm market will be open and I have errands to run most of the day. No worries as most of them are happy errands. Our library is having a used book sale, almost all the books look like they've never even been opened, one year at the spring one I a got the current edition of Birnbaum's with all the coupons still in it for our trip. The other reason I'm happy my dh turned the heat on before he went to bed, I was expecting to wake up to a frozen house. Have a most magical weekend!

I love my fireplace. We go through a pickup truckload of wood during an average winter. The last few years I've had to get extra.

I really miss the smell of the wood burning fireplace. New homes in Colorado aren't allowed to have wood burner's any more. That law has been in effect for 20 years. Now, Boulder in Colorado is requiring new homes to have solar panels. Good for the environment, but will make buying a new home much more expensive.

Is anyone else as happy as I am that it is Friday?!?!? Nothing bad happened this week, but it just seemed long. I really need a good Saturday relaxing with my dog and a book. Oh and hubby can be around too.

I love reading, so relaxing, unless I pick up a thriller novel.
