I must apologize that I missed what happened there and the video tells me nothing. What is happening there, I see something, but, I don't know what it is.
Well, the phenomenom is called by local weathermen as a strong "cumulonimbus wind wall".
Similar to the phenomenon known as "derecho" in the US. The winds pretty much hit the mountain range that surrounds the downtown area(hence why downtown got hit harder and not so much where I am in the Valley) and pulled the wind downwards hard. Creating hurricane like wind with heavy rains.

It is a hard call and yes certainly a very expensive call. Thinking a one bedroom small apartment is $3800 a month, one meal. The family went through this with my MIL last year, her children's choice not hers to enter. I think sometimes early maybe better when you are still fully capable of planning your own future. Most of her stuff needed to go and still she has too much in her new digs.

Me I am a selective saver. I saved my kids favor plush toy from their early years, best of the best art work, tokens of their years tucked into jewelry chests. My MIL saves so much. I have two SILs (they are sisters) that are married to the other two brothers (always been a strange dynamic) Their (sisters/my SILs) Mom who is just the nicest lady and I love dearly though not even related to me is a genuine horder. She saves all things paper. In her three bedroom home 2 of the bedrooms that were the daughters were filled floor to ceiling with newspapers, mail, catalogs etc. While in rehab for a broken hip they got a dumpster. Sad, she has started to refill them. Beyond this she is a lovely women, normal in every way. .
3800 a month? yikes!!!!

Still alive and kicking with only the edging and capping the top off left.:angelic:
Did anyone else watch the lunar eclipse last night ?
Very cool indeed :D
cloudy all night :(

I guess that's the most accurate description. Beef substitute:confused: It doesn't taste like beef at least I don't think it does. But then again I'm not sure I remember what beef tastes like. I also like cauliflower "steaks". Just take a large cauliflower slice into slices between 1 and 1 1/2 inches brush with olive oil and grill.
I still do not see why people claim the Portobello is a beef sustitute. It just has a stronger mushroom flavor than the usual white ones.

That's my mother. She refuses to admit she's older and keeps a positive attitude about. She's 72 and just did a train tour across Maine and hiked a lot of the countryside there.
refusing to accept they're older is not always a good thing.
Sometimes they force themselves to do something they used to do.. and cant anymore. and then they end hurting themselves. :(

OUCH!!!!! The one day ticket price is crazy! My dh's AP was just over 300 and with that one we get free parking and 10% discount on food and shopping, mine was just about 230 but it has blackout dates (I'm not worried as we're doing UNI after Disney and they'll be over by then) My dh and I are going back April or May 2017 just us no kids so they work out quite cheap compared to Disney tickets.
Have fun, just you and hubby. Those are special trips too.;)

So, a down draft???
