I have seen it four times now. Once on the plane to Hawaii, once on the way back, and twice at home now that I have the Blue Ray/DVD combo pack. Love it! It doesn't replace Ever After as my favorite Cinderella adaptation of all time, but it's great. Also, Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy godmother is hilarious.
Well, she does have a lot of experience with wand-work, though this role was quite a departure from her previous spell-casting roles!

Problem with the Princess Bride:

Why, when Wesley is fighting the ROUS, does Buttercup just stand there? She doesn't even try to help! The sword was laying on the ground. While Wesley was distracting it, she could have picked up the sword and turned the ROUS into a kebab. Instead, she just kind of stands there like an oyster.

My goodness, I love this movie, but Buttercup is pretty pathetic.
Well that, and she has the big stick and she just pokes at it instead of whacking it over the head a few times. Pathetic. (though it's one of my favorite movies ever)

I did. That was the original plan, but hubs and I decided to put that off until the next trip. The kids are still a bit too young to enjoy most of Universal and my DD especially doesn't do well with scary things, so they have only seen the first 3 movies. I don't want them spoilered. So we figure if we wait for a few years, they will enjoy it a whole lot more and then we can justify the expense. We'd have to get the 2 park tickets which are $150 each for one day. So we're going to wait and do it in about 5 years.
OUCH!!!!! The one day ticket price is crazy! My dh's AP was just over 300 and with that one we get free parking and 10% discount on food and shopping, mine was just about 230 but it has blackout dates (I'm not worried as we're doing UNI after Disney and they'll be over by then) My dh and I are going back April or May 2017 just us no kids so they work out quite cheap compared to Disney tickets.

So my grandparents are moving to a old people community home. Personally I think it's too early and a lot of money but who am I to say.

Anyway, their kids have been slacking cleaning up the house so my dad cleaned his old room last. Stuff from when he was a kid was still old the room (old matchbox cars, plastic presidents, pennants and college textbooks). Granted everything should have been thrown out a long time ago. I haven't been out of college for ten years and everything except for a couple books and papers are thrown away.

It was like watching an episode of hoarders and yet my grandmother still wants to keep everything and take it with her. Oy Vey.

I told my dad and my aunt...they should just go in and throw everything out while my grandmother is away and she wouldn't have a clue.
I wish I could convince my dad to move somewhere like that. He's 82 and had a few strokes this time last year as well as being on meds for his heart. He lives alone and he's miles from civilization. If he would even just move into town where someone could check on him, I'd feel better. Guess we don't get to choose our elders' living situations.

My mom is too close to the city and I'm not fond of the neighborhood!!!!!!! She's like my grandmother in that respect we couldn't get her out of Queens as she had a rent controlled apartment. My mom is the same way!:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Downhill in neutral with a tailwind! It had an 8 pack. I had parent's gas credit card.:D or It would have been a large planter.

When you say "8 pack" are you talking about carburetors?
I don't remember a 396 ever coming out of the factory with either 4 two bbl. carburetors, or 2 four barrel carburetors, and can't find anything about that being the case.
This must have been an aftermarket application...?

Well, that's the ticket with the park hopper equivalent, because you can't ride the Hogwarts express without that, and that's the thing I'd most want to do. But DD loves Dobby and still doesn't know what happens to him, and I'd hate for her to find out from Universal Studios! So we'll wait. Hubs and I are planning a trip for our 25th anniversary, but that's more than a decade away.

I'll take lots of UNI pics for you and try and get a video on Hogwarts Express. I'm sure we'll ride it at least a few times each way.

Yikes! I don't think I would want to be outside in that. Glad you are safe.
sadly.. my cousin had to move from his apartment.
The damage was more extensive than first reviewed.
almost all the ceiling was blown. It was a miracle that the entire ceiling didn't blow away.. the wood beams were still there and barely holding the drywall(sheetrock).
