The first Dolphins home game is today! That said, it's the Dolphins...

I am not expecting much.

They're supposed to be better this year! Good luck!!

I love having precut peppers in the freezer. Makes life easier.

I also seem to corner the market during the big Vidalia onion sale every year. Lots of chopped onions also helps, besides I like sweet onions.

The Fox and the Hound is on TV right now, this is not a drill!

But why should I care if it's on Netflix and I have the Blu-ray?

For the same reason I always seem to know when Robin Hood is going to be on

With the cost of next year's blow out trip, I'm thinking about just giving everybody a toothpick with a cranberry on it

Happy Monday and it will be a very happy Monday for me! I get the house to myself! Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!! (picture Kermit again LOL) Mount laundry is almost caught up, the peppers are cut up and frozen except for what I'm going to use this week and it's going to be nice and warm so I'm going walking. Most importantly I'll have a bit of time to check in here from time to time!!! Again YEA!!! I hope all of you have a fun day planned, or at least have a boss on vacation.

Shopping alert to those with a local Target: Mine had 4 different Star Wars style reusable shopping bags. I bought a bunch and will use them for putting holiday gifts in. No wasted wrapping paper or time to wrap, Win, Win I must be getting lazy as I have no desire to spend hours wrapping Christmas gifts. I'm also thinking they can be used again next year or just as shopping bags. Please tell me I'm not too crazy. Yes I realize I just gave @MR FERRET way too much ammo.

Compared to young people I am old, very old. I don't mind being called old because many friends and relatives didn't live long enough to be old. I am what I am and, age-wise, I am old. I don't feel old, I don't even think that I look that old and I am certain that I don't act old, but, old I am. I took an online wildly unscientific quiz to determine age the other day and it said I was 26. Who am I to argue.

A final word on my comments yesterday concerning this subject. What I was not able to convey, was the condescending tone of voice about her age, from the man in the office. It was more the way he said it, that hurt my mother's feelings.

That was one of the things I really liked about my 4+ years as a Disney Store CM. We were encouraged, and loved to go out of our way to help those with special needs or issues, weekend rush, holiday rush, or not. We were scheduled with extra CMs during the heavier times. We didn't want a single guest leaving disappointed.
We had many regulars with special needs, and many that would just call the Store to talk to us for a bit that couldn't visit that particular day, but, just wanted that connection to The Disney Store to make their day. They needed the escape, and we were more than happy to oblige.

What a wonderful thing to do. Daughter told a CM at the Disney store on my 65th it was my birthday. They celebrated with me just like I was a kiddo. (which, I am) That's one of those magical moments only Disney can do. I will cherish this memory.

I'm thinking that hubby and I will share most items, then we can try a lot but not spend a lot. I'm thinking that I will get my own serving of the nitro chocolate truffle, that looks pretty amazing.

Hubby and I always share, except for the pulled pork from Hawaii. I have to have my own!

I agree with this.. the booths are good for testing small things.. but not going overboard.. way too expensive for the size.
Id rather have a full meal if I'm going to chew a bunch of stuff.

I think the food booths are good for when you have always wanted to try something but didn't want to buy a meal of it in case it's gross.
