Problem with the Princess Bride:

Why, when Wesley is fighting the ROUS, does Buttercup just stand there? She doesn't even try to help! The sword was laying on the ground. While Wesley was distracting it, she could have picked up the sword and turned the ROUS into a kebab. Instead, she just kind of stands there like an oyster.

My goodness, I love this movie, but Buttercup is pretty pathetic.
There are many movies that have this issue. Its like they want certain characters (specially women) frozen like in a state of total fear and completely useless.
But then, I never seen this movie..

Sorry, but it is an absolute impossibility to make calamari yummy unless you replace the calamari with peanut butter.
....fried calamari.. replaced with peanut butter...

Yep, she was a spoiled brat at the beginning, ordering poor Westley around, and useless for the rest of the movie. Her only redeeming action is when she tumbles down the hill after Westley. That was quite a fall! :p

The portion sizes are exactly the same as the Flower and Garden Festival so can get pricey if you eat a lot. One person going to 4 booths and say an average of $6. So pretty much the same price as a meal.
I agree with this.. the booths are good for testing small things.. but not going overboard.. way too expensive for the size.
Id rather have a full meal if I'm going to chew a bunch of stuff.

I will be looking forward to your thoughts on the Food and Wine Festival, the food in particular. We will be there for the last weekend of it and it is our first time there. So much of the food looks good, I think a lot of our meals will be there.
I will be glad to share, I need to say I'm not a picky eater, but I can't have milk products or cheese, so if they won't serve something without, I'll have to pass. Hubby can have a very limited amount of cheese, but not dairy. Unless the CM's are willing to accommodate, we probably not have a lot to eat. I plan to take pictures of the food we can have, if that will help.

So my grandparents are moving to a old people community home.

Just a thought: You may want to slightly rephrase the above to, " . . . moving to a senior living community." Sounds a little more appropriate.

Back when my mother was alive, she was waiting in an office to see her accountant. One of the bookkeepers came out and called out her name, and she didn't hear him right away--but a staff member was overheard telling the bookkeeper, "Oh, it's the old lady sitting down there." THAT she heard, unfortunately. She came home and let me know that her feelings were hurt being called OLD; she said she would have preferred elderly as it seemed more respectful. She felt the man thought she wasn't as valuable as a younger person. I did my best to try and lift her spirits and tell her that she was a valuable and contributing member of society, no matter what her age. I never forgot the sad look on her face, so please understand that I'm a bit sensitive about your comment. I realize you meant no harm to the senior citizens.

I am so glad this went viral. Otherwise I fear that cashier would have been written up or lost their job, because they left the register during a rush.

That was one of the things I really liked about my 4+ years as a Disney Store CM. We were encouraged, and loved to go out of our way to help those with special needs or issues, weekend rush, holiday rush, or not. We were scheduled with extra CMs during the heavier times. We didn't want a single guest leaving disappointed.
We had many regulars with special needs, and many that would just call the Store to talk to us for a bit that couldn't visit that particular day, but, just wanted that connection to The Disney Store to make their day. They needed the escape, and we were more than happy to oblige. :)

I'm thinking that hubby and I will share most items, then we can try a lot but not spend a lot. I'm thinking that I will get my own serving of the nitro chocolate truffle, that looks pretty amazing.
