I hope you get to spend some time with us! @figmentfan 423
Thank you, that's very sweet! I'm planning on doing some extra walking (with a friend who's not an early riser) and some trip planning. April's hour's are out and the same as last year's so I'll use last year's August hour's to do a basic outline. That's the way I've done it before. Hopefully that should save me some headaches right before ADR time. We're still debating how many to do. Yes I also plan on some extra time on here. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Picture Kermit the frog!

@MOXOMUMD , I was at the supermarket this morning and I saw boxes of pumpkin cake (like a breakfast loaf cake style) on display . . . and next to these boxes of scrumptiousness was a display of cans of cream cheese frosting. . . :cautious: :hungry: ;) :joyfull:

Guilty of the cardinal sin of shopping while hungry . . . I bought both!! :D As soon as I came home, I dug into the pumpkin cake and frosted a bit of the top with the frosting from the can. However the cake crumbled a bit while I was trying to spread on the frosting, so I decided to eat the cake with a fork, and then I spooned out globbies of yummy frosting and ate it right off the spoon! :p Oh, I love the fall !!!
I went to the farm market while hungry.. I came home with extra acorn squash, 25 pounds of peppers that have to be cut up and frozen, apples for crumb and eggs for my dh. At lest I can't get into too much trouble there.:D

More celebrating today...! :)
We attended the 5p mass at our church with mom and pop. They received a certificate for their 55th wedding anniversary (was actually on July 16 - yes, so 4 yrs. and 364 days after Disneyland opened ;)) along with other couples ranging from 10-65 year anniversaries.
The kicker...pop is having a stint put in Monday morning, and we ate the heck outta' fried chicken for dinner...!!! :joyfull:
And yes, that wasn't lost on anybody...! ;) :)
Best wishes for your pop. xoxo

Happy Sunday, I can't wait for tomorrow as my dh will return to work tomorrow. (runs and hides under large rock) I have to run out and do some grocery shopping and put the last shelf back up in the dining room. Not to mention getting some things cooked for the boys to pack for lunch this week. At least it's chili night. A nice easy dinner and the beans are already cooked. Have a great Sunday, ketchup tomorrow xoxo

Fifty-five years together and they're still talking to each other? ! :hilarious:

Really, though, that is so awesome; what a wonderful couple, who raised a wonderful family. God bless them.

Best of luck to your dad with his stent procedure tomorrow morning. It's a very common procedure now, and should be helpful to him. Please let him know that MinnieM123 sends him huggies. :)

Now I'm feeling the need to make one this week!:hungry::D

Ha ha ha . . . that's the difference between you and me. :D You'll make one yourself, and you'll sneak in all kinds of healthy contraband, :cautious: (and probably spend an hour cutting up a real pumpkin, too), while I'll just stampede the pumpkin cake and frosting display at the store--it's the fastest way to my stomach!! :joyfull: :joyfull:

Good grief. Where do you put all that stuff? Especially the part about cutting up and freezing 25 pounds of peppers--do you have one of those, separate huge freezers?

So my grandparents are moving to a old people community home. Personally I think it's too early and a lot of money but who am I to say.

Anyway, their kids have been slacking cleaning up the house so my dad cleaned his old room last. Stuff from when he was a kid was still old the room (old matchbox cars, plastic presidents, pennants and college textbooks). Granted everything should have been thrown out a long time ago. I haven't been out of college for ten years and everything except for a couple books and papers are thrown away.

It was like watching an episode of hoarders and yet my grandmother still wants to keep everything and take it with her. Oy Vey.

I told my dad and my aunt...they should just go in and throw everything out while my grandmother is away and she wouldn't have a clue.
