My son had heat stroke. :( Spent an hour and a half hanging over a Contemporary toilet, while the rest of us feasted on this:

Once he had cooled down and re-hydrated, he was finally able to eat the take-out fettuccine we had ordered for him, a couple of hours later.

Interesting how many people prefer breakfasts over there in the states.
Me, I was not impressed by breakfasts at WDW.. so few options. Its almost always the same (potato, sausage, eggs and waffles/pancakes with bacon)
I suppose I'm too used to the Mexican way (where we have tons of breakfast options)
I think for most Americans (well, me at least) our stomachs only want specific dishes in the morning. I do not want anything too complicated, too rich, or too unfamiliar. Pancakes and waffles is pretty much what I go with in the morning, maybe some bacon or fruit.

Recently, my breakfast has consisted of a Poptart, a banana, and some tea, which get eaten in the car or during my first class.

My mom is turning 50 in January.

I'm still not sure how she feels about it. She says she feels old when my brother or I have a birthday. I guess it also helps that my dad will be 56 in February.

All I cared about was turning 21 so I could go to more dance clubs, being able to drink was secondary. After that, I stopped paying attention to how old I was getting. :cat:

What breakfast buffets did you dine at? We've done them all in park and resort and they've all had more than just that.

Happy Sunday Ya'll
Joined the club last night. My mum took it upon herself to head out into the garden last night (late) to sort something and proceeded to fall.
One trip to A + E later and she has a broken arm ...

Awe, sorry to hear that. Hope she isn't in too much pain. :( Bad week for our parents/grandparents.

My Mom will leave on Thursday to fly to Ohio and then off for a 7 hour drive with my Sis to NY to see my niece that just started college and is already on injury reserve for her Field Hockey team, pulled a Hammy. That leaves me to keep an eye on my ladder climbing 87 year old father who is over an hour away. Joy Joy. :banghead:

I'll be back later to catch up, but I have a question. I did more number crunching, and I looked up the menus of the 4 table-service restaurants we are planning to eat at and I picked the things we were most likely to order and added it all together. It came out to about $570-$600 for those few meals. So I looked at how much it will cost to upgrade to the regular dining plan again and it was $600. So, we might as well go ahead and upgrade if it's going to cost the same...then we get 10 TS meals for that instead of just four. (Thanks @figmentfan423 for the suggestion) So my question is, if you could only choose ONE Table Service restaurant for your trip, which would be your go-to? I'll look at reviews and such too, and we won't be doing signature dining like Le Cellier, but I'd like to know if there's a consensus on which places are the best. Thanks!

Well given my mood at the moment I'd say Teppan Edo. Lots of quality food, always good service and entertainment all rolled into one meal.
