Only one.....that is so difficult! So I'm going to cheat in the top three I'm in the mood for now in order of liking them....

If you are wanting something fancy: California Grill
Definitely nothing fancy for us. We're not real fancy folk, especially with the kids. One year, hubby got a gift card for this really fancy restaurant as a bonus from work. It was the kind of place where you can't pronounce half the things on the menu and they came and brushed bread crumbs from the table in between courses, etc. The food was excellent, but we felt SO out of place there. It was a nice experience to have one time, but neither of us mind if we never have another.

Some guys can pull it off.
Do you perchance look anything like this?

Oh, god no... why would I want to be that deformed?

That reminds me of an incident yesterday. I was walking out of the local mall and a guy I had never seen before, about my age, maybe a few years younger, stopped me and said... "I'm sorry to stare, but, you look just like my father! He's dead now, but, you are an image of him." First of all, I hadn't realized that he was staring, so thanks for that information, but, just exactly how does one reply to that kind of statement? All I could think to say was... Nope, not him, but, he obviously was a very good looking man.

Later I thought of another which was... What a coincidence, I am told that I look a lot like my Father... could we be brothers?

For character breakfast, we really enjoyed Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare. I think food was a little better at CP, but I really liked the character interaction at 1900 (Mad Hatter is a hoot and Alice and Mary Poppins are also very good). Next trip I'd want to do dinner at 1900, though, for the step mother and sisters. I thought Tusker House was just OK in terms of food, but character interaction was great - we had a late morning ADR and it was pretty empty so the characters came around more than once.

If you're interested in a princess meal, I'd definitely do Akershus.

For non-character dinner, my suggestions are Be Our Guest (although you do get to meet the Beast), Biergarten, Captain's Grille, Coral Reef (ask for a table next to the aquarium), Kona Cafe, and Sanaa.

If you plan to see Fantasmic!, I'd recommend booking the dinner package. We chose Hollywood & Vine and I thought it was pretty good, although none of the desserts appealed to me. But the seats for the show were great.

If you can do a signature restaurant, I very highly recommend California Grill as well. Best dining experience of our last trip. If I could eat there every night, I would!

For as long as I can remember, the California Grill has always had a top rating. If I had the money for a really fine TS dinner and could choose any place I wanted at WDW, I'd definitely go to the California Grill. Victoria and Alberts comes in a close second.

It's ok, I wash them every three or four months without fail. It's so hard to find socks that fit properly.
Are they black? I learned a song about black socks when I went to Girl Scout camp in 6th grade. Black socks, they never get dirty. The longer you wear them, the blacker they get. Someday I'll probably launder them. Something keeps telling me "don't do it yet".

Anything strenuous like sports lol. Have injuries to blame for that.

A very happy birthday to you! And aren't you lucky that your birthday falls on a holiday weekend--twice the fun!

I had to laugh over your comment about turning 30 and not being able to do some things as well as you could years ago. Wait until you add another 10, 20, 30 or 40 years to your current 30--it's all downhill! ;)

I was never worried about turning 30. I'm coming up on 40 next year, but I still don't feel old.
