Do you think they replaced the spires as a consolation prize to those of us, who are freaking about the stage blocking the view of the theater?

I always wonder about the safety of that kind of stage. With Florida's tornados and hurricane winds, not to mention sink holes?

I watch him with his weapons, real sharp swords, nun chucks, and the like and I'm scared just watching. I love Tea Kwon Do, they are teaching him the respect for his power, and how to choose another path. Last year (because he is so short), he was being bullied....he got in the kids face, who was a couple years older than him, (on the play ground) and told him to never do that again. The bullying stopped, I'm so glad that he has learned confidence and respect.

That's great that he has that confidence. I hate hearing about bullying - it just seems to be so bad these days.

So yesterday we went to Evanston. Ate at my favorite restaurant. Tapas, so you get a little of everything. Dinner was interupted by lots of drumming. Turned out it was an Indian wedding, and the groom had just ridden in on a horse. I tried, but the picture didn't turn out. Went for a drive by the beach and Northwestern. Their new Performing Arts Center really makes my boys eyes light up.

are you sure its Tae Kwon Do?
I honestly never seen anyone from Tae Kwon Do using weapons.
They supposedly teach kicks as main source of damage.

Perhaps its not Tae Kwon do and more like Kung Fu and other weapon themed martial arts?

That is strange - I saw the image earlier. Maybe it was accidentally deleted?

I'm sure he's not using the weapons in TKD, but probably collects them as part of his interest in martial arts.

Sorry about your frustration.

Do not worry about it.
All the blame will and still be on Microsoft's skype team.

Its still enfuriating how long these bugs have been reported. And nothing..no bug fixes.
infact, the first thing that Microsoft did when Skype was purchased and they started to phase out Messenger...
was to move the AD(aka announcements, spam..advertisement..) to Skype.
Now we get the same annoying ads in full glory in Skype.
bug fixes? not so much..

I'm pretty sure that bullying as been for as long as humanity.
The difference is.. we are paying attention now, and news sources are paying attention as well.
Studies are being performed.. people are no longer ignoring it as a "rite to grow up" .

Another possibility is.. the image is hosted in one of these free websites.. which heavily limits the number of times the image as been downloaded.

I agree it's always been around, but it seems worse now and the way kids are being bullied is even more humiliating, especially with the internet's popularity. I don't remember it ever being this bad growing up. I was bullied for a while in elementary school, but it pretty much stopped once I got to junior high.

Does anyone remember seeing the MSEP at Disneyland sometime in 1988. Because a special parade float was created which featured Mickey Mouse on top of a birthday cake celebrating his 60th Birthday that year. Donald was on the Drum unit.

Here's just a few pictures and they're not the best. --just a couple that hubby took from his camera of the fancy dancer, but it does somewhat show his splendid regalia. What it doesn't show is how impressive the regalia looked when he was spinning, etc., because of all the fringe attachments he has on. He also had bells on his ankles.
