Ah, I think we call it cheesecake. :D
ohh. we have CHEESE cakes

the difference is..

cheese cake for us = cheese dense piece between 2 normal cake pieces.. usually chocolate flavored.

Cheesepie = thin hard crust on the bottom and border, but soft top made of pure cheese dense piece.

Example:

Funny you should mention Fruit Loops. I just saw on the news this morning that they had gotten rid of harmful colorings and replaced with some sort of natural plant colors. The result is less vibrant colors and the big news is that they can no longer replicate the blue color Fruit Loops! :p

Yep, there is no "true blue" in earths food nature. The closest is violet.
Although, there is the sky.....which.....is in the sky... :cyclops:

As for Splash, I read that they really turn down the water jets at the bottom in the cooler months. Many people think that the soaking comes from the big splash at the bottom, when in reality, there are hidden water jets on both sides that soak the log vehicle at the bottom.

I love my heat and humidity at WDW, but, I also love gettin' wet, too.
Win win for this dude...!!! :joyfull: :)

I love dessert foods at WDW too. Just not so much as a combo with my meal. I'd never purchase those little pods of dessert at QS venues at many locations in the parks after a QS lunch or dinner. I do not want the fruit or juice as an extra beverage with my QS breakfast. If it was not for a CM discount I likely would not do a dining plan.

Now eating desserts as snacks all over WDW I love. I miss the Main Street Bakery and the Fountain Ice Cream at Epcot. CupCakes from many of the shops are so good (not all but most.) Sitting under a tree eating a Mickey Ice Cream bar....Just after a meal I just am not hungry for dessert nor do I appreciate them as much in combo with a meal, more tasting and packing it in, something I try hard not to do.

Or sitting anywhere with a Mickey Ice Cream bar.....

It has everything to do with staffing. The overwhelming majority are college and high school students that have returned to school. The WaterPark my kids worked at since 15 years old and my DD still manages part time is down to opening half the facility which makes patrons angry even though they enter for half price.

It costs about $500 to train each lifeguard and approximately 40 hours of training and then they get a certification as a lifeguard which includes testing out on AED, CPR deep water saves, spinal baskets/boards. So when these highly skilled young'ns head back to school even though the weather is hot there just isn't the staff to keep them open beyond labor day. It is no coincidence that park districts bring down their indoor pools at this time of year for there annual rehab, they can pull that staff to eek through the outdoor season.
And that is why this is the last weekend for our pools. There is one small pool that will open on the weekend until Labor Day, but the season is pretty much done.
