Well do it! Put a pair of indoor shoes and stop break'n them feet.
Nah, it's just been a bad year. Prior to this year, I hadn't broken a toe in a decade plus.
I hate shoes - heel spurs. I hate socks - dunno why.

I am seriously still in wonder that you all sport footwear indoors.
When it's cold, I may slip on a pair of fluffy socks and/or slippers, but generally my tootsies are bare. Of the five of us, Hubby is the only one who actually wears socks all day.

On another note, where you at, Missy? Has @StarWarsGirl95 chimed in today?

:hilarious: ;) :)

Oh, doesn't it just figure that someone who works for a big architectural firm, makes the big bucks and can hire yourself a muscle firm. Not fair! :in pain:

Yowza - Buffalo will be getting more snow. Mind you, it's only the lake-effect kind, so no biggie.

"A ferocious storm dumped massive piles of snow on parts of upstate New York, trapping residents in their homes and stranding motorists on roadways, as temperatures in all 50 states fell to freezing or below.
A lake-effect system that has dumped 1.3 metres (four feet) of snow around Buffalo, New York in the past 24 hours has more in store for the region.
The U-S National Weather Service says snow totals could top two metres (six feet) by Wednesday afternoon, with another storm expected on Thursday."

best hospital system in the country calls me and I'm not home :arghh: I don't know why they don't call my cell phone

I had to put up 2 wardrobes for my grandparents which took 6 hours, supposed to take 3 hours, so they say. No one know how long they will stay at their house so we didn't buy fancy wardrobes that came together. But there was no directions, only pictures. And a part which could had made everything easier but the directions didn't have the part so we didn't know what it was for.

Ahhhh. Hopefully today will go better. My DD only listed her cell number for that reason.

I picked up Son #1 from school and took him for a haircut/beard trim this afternoon.

We had to wait while a lovely, little gray haired lady was getting her perm. The owner had her brand new 6-week old yorkie there, so between the puppy and the dear old gal, we were quite entertained.

As we were leaving, she asked, "Are you two kids married?"

We get in the car, and simultaneously exclaim, "As if ...", and "Like I couldn't do better".

Ha! :joyfull:

That's really very pretty and different with your Victorian theme. Mine isn't quite that creative; guess I stick with the traditional colors, more or less.

The past few years I've used the mini clear lights, and put a combination of solid red or gold bulbs around the branches. Santa (in a red velvet cape) goes on the top, and I have some transparent red draping ribbon swirled around the tree. Red tree skirt goes over the tree stand at the bottom. My tree doesn't get bought/put up, until the 2nd weekend of December.

Our tree would go up always the day after Thanksgiving. Kids were home and DH so it was a day we could count on everyone being here and it would come down New Years Day another day everyone was sure to be around. Now most of the stuff never comes out. The layouts of the 2 rooms is very different and is void of flat spots and wall space. When my living room till a few years ago was very formal with Queen Ann with a piano and family room Mission and there was plenty of flat spots.

Our tree goes usually goes up anytime in the last two weeks of November.
(Without a late-month Thanksgiving, our no-no-not-before date is Remembrance Day.)

And then, it usually doesn't come down until after January 7th, in deference to my Ukrainian heritage.
The year my dad was dying however, we left it for a very long time.
According to my FB Timeline, it stayed up until March 8!

I've had bronchitis and just have not felt like doing much the past few days. Missed two days of school and have been on a lot of medication

The trivia threads were the first time I've looked on here since about Sunday night, when I could tell I was starting with it.

Thanks for the concern.

Hope you feel better soon. It's quiet here without you.
