We're all technically night owls, but my mother and I are definitely not morning people. It must be a thing from her side of the family. No one calls our one aunt before 9 am because everyone knows better. My mom and I do not wake up happy, and we definitely do not sing right after waking up. I also think I don't sleep well most nights, which doesn't help. Will probably have to get evaluated for that Restless Leg Syndrome I'm 80% certain I inherited from my grandmother. Ya know, once I get the torn ligament taken care of. And my long overdue visit to the eye doctor. And all the other appointments I probably should do once I get back.

I'm also not a morning person - did you see the meme I posted a couple pages back?

Watching Lilo and Stitch. It's a Hawaiian tradition for us. But my brother fell asleep during it the first time, so of course, we're watching it again. I watch this movie with such a different perspective now that I'm about the age Nani was supposed to be.

Ah, love that movie, too! We also watched Surf's Up (I know, wrong franchise) as a Hawaiian tradition. :D

No, I haven't been keeping up very much since I've been out here. Could you quote yourself so I could see or repost?

Sure, here you go:

My cable box started blinking like it was going to melt down. It was just an emergency alert to let us know about some pay per view boxing event. I was a bit worried I'd have to swap the box along with all the other errands I have to run. @catmom46 I have to be out of the house by 7:30 with the boys to get everything done today!:D

Impressive! We sometimes have difficulty just getting our 7-year-old daughter to school by 8:30. None of us are naturally early risers. :p

@figmentfan423 Back to our discussion of boys...

I'm pretty sure that my brother's default response to everything is "No." On the plane ride here, the flight attendant would come by and ask if he wanted something to drink. His response? "No." And then I'd override him and ask them for a cranberry juice for him, and he would drink the whole thing.

And then we had this conversation:

"Brother, are you awake?"

"No."

Hmm...

It's summer vacation so every other thing I hear is "I'm hungry"

@donaldtoo and @betty rose , the Ford jokes were funny. But I have to say that I must have been one of the lucky ones with my previous Ford car, because we had very little go wrong with it. That was the 1997 Ford Escort wagon and it was an awesome little car. We had it for approx. 15 years, and the real reason why we had to get rid of it was the rust. The engine still worked fine. I was so bummed when they stopped making the Escort. Figures . . . a good car, so they got rid of making that model . . . :(
