Good night. The party is starting to quiet down finally. It's not worth going back to sleep because I'm usually up by 4 any way! I'll either go to bed a bit early or sleep in tomorrow. How my dh slept through the noise I'll never know!

I'm used to the crazy hours as my dh and boys leave home before 6:30 every morning. I never miss rope drop

Good what ever the heck time it is. The neighbors kids are up and their parents are away! Guess who's having a party? The parent's own a house about a block away from me and it's an investment property, they're hardly ever there (snowbirds). When they are up here they use it as a base of operations to visit friends and family. My neighbor went over to complain about the brats a few times and got "boys will be boys and it's not like they're doing drugs" Not so sure about the last part and some people have to work for a living. My neighbors and I don't want to call the police but it seems over the past few summers we're getting sick and tired of the frat boys thinking they own the world. Rant over!

Ugh, so sorry. We've had that happen a few times. Someone called the police one time over suspicion of underage drinking and several got arrested. Our yard was a mess with trash. My parents and the other neighbors were not happy, especially since they found used condoms on the front yard. Gross! Thankfully, there hasn't been one for a while.

Oh, how I do not miss middle and high school!

For some reason, my brother handles it better than I do. He and my father wake up happy. Annoyingly happy. I told my dad this morning that singing in the morning is really not necessary. Which of course, just makes him sing more and more.

We're all technically night owls, but my mother and I are definitely not morning people. It must be a thing from her side of the family. No one calls our one aunt before 9 am because everyone knows better. My mom and I do not wake up happy, and we definitely do not sing right after waking up. I also think I don't sleep well most nights, which doesn't help. Will probably have to get evaluated for that Restless Leg Syndrome I'm 80% certain I inherited from my grandmother. Ya know, once I get the torn ligament taken care of. And my long overdue visit to the eye doctor. And all the other appointments I probably should do once I get back.

Watching Lilo and Stitch. It's a Hawaiian tradition for us. But my brother fell asleep during it the first time, so of course, we're watching it again. I watch this movie with such a different perspective now that I'm about the age Nani was supposed to be.
