Might need them. I have no idea what transpired at home in the past 12 days.

I was also late. 2 weeks late. If my mom hadn't gone into labor when she did, they would have induced the next day. Took 13 hours, but finally I decided to make an appearance. I was a stubborn baby. 2 weeks late, 13 hours of labor, and I wouldn't move my legs apart so that they could tell I was a girl. Two days before I was born, a nurse thought that I was a girl, but they weren't sure. This baby seems to be giving me a run for my money.
And yup, still no baby.
Prayers that all is well...
Our oldest was a week late, and starting to get pretty big. After carefully weighing all the options, we decided on the inducement. They started drippin' Pitocin at 7:30a, but, she wasn't born 'til 10:54 that night. They almost sent us home at one point in the evening 'cause DWifey was dilated only 4 cms. We (DWifey) chose to stick it out, but, 'cause mom and baby were both showing signs of tiring, in the end, they took us from the LDR to an actual delivery room to, as the Doc put it, "Grab 'er with the salad spoons." One little bruise on her cheek is all that left. Finally, 8 lbs. 8oz. of healthy baby girl...!![]()
That side of Cleveland (west) is the NICE side, it's the east side that's not safe. How the heck is Chicago not on that list?My Sis lives in Cleveland, not surprised, very close to the women held in the basement for a decade. St Louis this year I get, Detroit well yeah, Oakland does surprise me.

Ahhhh...maybe perspective. I'm not a fan. She can't even put out potted plants on her porch without pot and all being gone. They steal lawn mowers and even my nieces puzzle from the porch. My Dad planted pretty bushes in front of the porch and someone dug them up while she was at work. She has occassinally had homeless sleeping on her porch in the morning. She likes it though, me not so much. When she told me when I get off the expressway to blow the light off if it is red, it was my first warning. That side of Cleveland (west) is the NICE side, it's the east side that's not safe.
Last year we made 26 trays for gifts and sold 31. (25 different varieties of goodies in each tray.) We guesstimated the two of us made around 150 dozen cookies, fudge, muffins, etc. Sold ones are by word of mouth to friends, family, work.Oh, that's a nice gesture from the both of you. People like receiving homemade cookies.
I was intrigued by the fact that you also sell some. Is this done through a local store, or do you set up a lemonade stand-type of structure in front of your house, waving at the cars that go by, so that they'll stop and buy some?!![]()
I tend to spend a lot of time in Mitsukoshi. After we were done shopping, we hopped on the monorail to Epcot, where we had parked in the a.m., which is what caused us to miss our first FP.
Tammy and I hopped in the SB line for SSE, while Mike took our purchases back to the car.
We were nowhere close to boarding by the time Mike got back, so we hopped out of line. Not once did we consider trying to let him butt - although we saw LOTS of that this week.
Headed over to the Seas. Rode lame Nemo, watched the manatees for a bit, then the fishies, then a photo with Bruce.

From there we went to the Land, said no thanks to 50 min SB on Soarin'.
Watched the slightly preachy Circle of Life film, and then rode Living with the Land.
Headed to WS, thought about getting some cronuts for brekkie. The problem is, I was still too full from our late lunch, do we skipped it. Come this morning though, and I was sad.
Toured all the shops in UK, before dropping another $150 in Japan. Did I mention that almost all my Christmas shopping is done?
Back in Canada, so my data is back on.I wondered quietly to myself about this too.
Nope - all packed in our luggage!I tend to spend a lot of time in Mitsukoshi.I have to see the anime, the pearl station, the sake bar.

My ex was born and grew up in East Cleveland. When he moved in with me (in the country) I didn't understand his constant locking everything. The windows couldn't be open at night. Then I made the trip there to see his family. The first time I had been to a house with bars on the window/doors. Got to see someone being arrested at gunpoint and a hooker buying smack. Yeah, west side has nothing on the east side. It's not perspective for me but experience. The best thing my ex's family did was take a job offer in another state and improve their surroundings 1000%.Ahhhh...maybe perspective. I'm not a fan. Now her office is not very far and that is very nice around there.

Texting back and forth with my brother. He said everything went really well. Worst part was getting up at 6:00 a.m. every day.
They wouldn't mind. My kids are two of the most considerate people I know. I would mind. And the second job does not only fund our Disney trip but is extra income if I get census managed (not guaranteed hours if hospital census low), or if I need to make repairs on my condo. So the second income is needed. Now I could scrape by with the one job but then the worry might be too much. Plus I like to have my kids and me have WDW as something special. What my kids had to endure from their father, I won't get into here but they are wonderful, mature kids (not my words but from everyone who knows them) because they saw what bad behavior can do to others.Just a side thought here. The first time I ever went to WDW, I was a young adult. My parents never took us while we were children, and I'm sure that with the cost of airfare, hotel, tickets, food, etc., they would have never even considered it. Well, I survived quite nicely into young adulthood without ever going to WDW. Now, your child has already been blessed with a few trips, so it wouldn't be the worst thing if he/she had to maybe wait another year or two for the next visit.
What children want the most is a loving parent and a happy home. I strongly suspect that you deliver both of those on a consistent basis. I hate to see you miserable in your 2nd job, and think that your child would understand if you needed to consider quitting it for your sanity.
Amen sista!Being a single parent is stressful, period. It definitely makes one a stronger person.
That is my favorite store.I tend to spend a lot of time in Mitsukoshi.I have to see the anime, the pearl station, the sake bar.
