yikes sorry for confusing the pronouns..
I have the tendency of always going toward male pronouns when unsure.
specially online.

Ha! I can't tell you how many times I've been a guy on the forums. Gabe and Gabriel, me, are not typical names for females. Too many times over my life people just rename me Gabriella. Annoying. I thought I solved that problem with my DD name however people rename her too and her name is as simple as my name is. Just don't get it.

We did. It's become an annual thing but might change as our trips get shorter due to the kids growing up or DVC taking over the resort. :(

Yep, when and if they put that DVC in Wilderness it will never be the same. Sadly, it genuinely a piece of the past from the early days of Disney that has not changed all that much over the years minus the upgrades in the cabins and the closing of River Country. I will be very disappointed to see it altered. That though would be the one place I'd consider a DVC. I always thought it be the Poly for me but the DVC kinda wrecked the Poly for me.

Friday afternoon I paid $20.95 USD for my haircut, and that was with a $5.00 tip. She did a good job. :)

There is a great differential between what women's base charge is and guys, even for women who have very short hair. Many charges are like that. Many cleaners charge double for women's dress shirts over what they charge men.
Women's Levi's are generally $20 more then men's even though the material in men's Levi's is superior. The list goes on..........

Supposedly (although I've never tried it) I've heard that mayonnaise (not reduced fat or any kind of hybrid), added to your hair once a month at night (wrap a small dish towel around it), and washed/rinsed out in the morning, is a good, deep conditioner.

There are hot oil treatments that do the same thing. You heat up the oil that is in a tube in a pan of water. Add it to your hair. Wrap and sleep. No need for mayonnaise to go rancid on your head. I also have treated my Pups over the years with this when their skin becomes dry and flaky during the cold winter months. I put it on them after I wet them down, let it soak in for 10-15 minutes an then shampoo with baby shampoo. It works to
re-moisturize their skin over the winter months and leaves the fur shiner and soft.

Oh, I know you'll have fun! My favorite water rides are: at Blizzard Beach -- the Downhill Double Dipper, and at Typhoon Lagoon, it's the big Wave Pool. :D

I know I love the Wave Pool. So much fun. I hear they are having major issues at Blizzard with their Summit Plummet and Slusher Slides. Even offering the shuttles to Typhoon again to make up for the absence of the two major slides.

@Cesar R M , I just asked hubby what he spends for his hair cut. (He goes to a local. old-fashioned barber shop.) He said it's "gone up" to $16. HA! :p BUT, the barber still gives him free peanuts while he's waiting! :hilarious: I think I get gyped at my beauty salon with high prices and NO peanuts!!
well.. remember that for men who are balding..
the majority of them pay the barber to FIND HAIR than cutting it. :hilarious:

I've been cooking a crock pot turkey chili today. Not only does it come out yummy every time, but it's easy to make. There's always leftovers too, for a few nights this week. :)
good to know everyone had a great meal.
I did again my Pork Espinazo recipe from my grandmah.. this time it was delicious.
I'm temped to eat more but I promised to get some for my Sis family XD

Stay safe.

Fortunately, we're finally dryin' out a bit this weekend. There was a little activity down around Corpus Christi earlier, and still some between Laredo and McAllen down around the border, with some showers also out in the gulf.
Partly cloudy and 88 right now.
go figure.. they warned about tornados in the border (including Mexico's side.. where the tornado touched a few days ago). scary thing..

Sadly Longhorn said this was the last day for their famous fresh green beans, they are sauteed and seasoned so nicely and cooked perfectly. They say they are too labor intensive

I don't think I've ever been to a Longhorn, but I'm bummed (in principle) that they're cutting out their famous, freah green beans. Can't stand it when a restaurant demotes their veggies to second class status. A good restaurant pays attention to the quality of the entree as much as the veggies. One of the reasons why we go to our favorite restaurant on Friday nights is because they serve up fresh veggies (not frozen, not canned . . .). It's actually a reason why some other patrons go there for dinner as well, based on discussions over the years with some of the "regulars" (customers) there.

I have seen this happen with fabric softener. Sometimes depending on the machine itself if all the fabric softener doesn't come out of the dispenser (I dilute with water when setting up the machine) the final spin cycle spits out some left over fabric softener. It looks similar to an oil stain after it comes out of the dryer. 2 things I've tried. Rewash with ammonia. About one cup with laundry detergent. Or pretreat the stain with Clorox all fabric and wash again. Depending on the fabric it will sometimes release the stain. I have more luck with the ammonia as it is very good with any type oil based stains. Other times the stain just becomes set with the heat from the dryer and it is a goner, I try both ways before I toss. I always wash bath and beach towels will a cup of ammonia 'cause it takes body oils out of the towels and always gets rid of the musty smell.

I never realized that "body oils" would be stuck in towels even after you washed them. o_O ;) I always thought you just take a towel out of the linen closet and dry off after a shower, and that was that. To think that all these years, I've been drying myself with towels that were cootie-infested?! :jawdrop: :D

So true on all accounts. The one thing that always frustrated me was that men's pants not only come in waist sizes, but also length sizes, but not women's pants!! I always have to get pants shortened when I buy them. :banghead:

Wasn't that about the time that old "one leg" decided that she was OK with taking his money, but really didn't want him hanging around anymore? He found out that she didn't still need him, wouldn't still feed him, when he was sixty four.

What the hell isn't cuter then Ringo. He has not aged well, but, at least he has continued to age. That's pretty good for rock stars, especially drummers.
Yes but alive is much better than a lot of the drummers from that era!

Tell me about it! Men can go from super skinny to extra wide and almost all of them can find clothes in one store if they chose! Me I can't find clothes that fit! Almost anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
