:hungry: That looks delish!

Thanks, everything was wonderful.:hungry: Our reward for getting up making the pilgrimage to my folks house, pulling out all the computer equipment, install the new computer and then lessons for the 80 & 87 year old parents.

Sadly Longhorn said this was the last day for their famous fresh green beans, they are sauteed and seasoned so nicely and cooked perfectly. They say they are too labor intensive. :cautious:

Is this a companywide thing, or just certain locations?
Why would they take something so signature like that and just completely scrap it instead of just add a little more to the premium...?!

adult people are always afraid of change.. my parents did. They refused to upgrade their machines because they dont know if they had to relearn everything. Until they noticed everything was almost the same.. they calmed down.
so I know the feeling of having to deal with these..

My Dad being the 87 year old actually does better than my Mom though she says differently. He can go back and forth between the PC and his iPad that we gave him a couple years ago. So his mind can still differentiate between the operating systems. Pretty much my Mom is the email lady and type a letter and she is out. My Dad would play with photos, play some games, look up weather, sports etc.

But yep, we could tell they were nervous but my DD put everything in icons that they use. Even my Moms email she named the icon Email lol.

I didn't know that A-B did this. It makes me like them better. I really don't like their beer AT ALL, I can tolerate Bud Select, but Bud-light YUCK! I do like when big corps give back though.

You're better than I, I can't even stand the smell of beer. I just admire A-B for shutting down the beer production to help the states hit so hard. Good Will goes a long way.

Oh, I know you'll have fun! My favorite water rides are: at Blizzard Beach -- the Downhill Double Dipper, and at Typhoon Lagoon, it's the big Wave Pool. :D
So today at Typhoon Lagoon it rained but they didn't make us get out of the water. We were in the lazy river and I finally had to jump out of my tube into the water to warm up. I overheard it got as low as 42 degrees during the rain. The funny thing was we saw people rinsing off in the outdoor showers as it rained hard.

And people thought I was crazy for forking over a couple hundred for each of my kids birthday parties for their friends. Dealing with maritime insurance I was so keenly aware of liability home parties scared the jabberers out of me. My peace of mind I happily turned that liability over to an establishment over fretting over liability in a law suit happy society. Looking at the price @FutureCEO quoted I got off cheap, lol.

So I need help from the ladies or single men (sorry married men but you don't do laundry if your anything like my grandfather). He's 83 and did laundry for the first time a few months ago when my grandmother was in the hospital, really had no clue what he was doing. During that time, I had to 'show' him how to make coffee. They have a K-cup machine.

But my work clothes (I wash them separately) have stains on them after washing/drying them. I don't see any stains before washing them. I looked it up and people said that there is probably too much detergent going in the wash. But the question is how do you get the stain out if you can?

I have seen this happen with fabric softener. Sometimes depending on the machine itself if all the fabric softener doesn't come out of the dispenser (I dilute with water when setting up the machine) the final spin cycle spits out some left over fabric softener. It looks similar to an oil stain after it comes out of the dryer. 2 things I've tried. Rewash with ammonia. About one cup with laundry detergent. Or pretreat the stain with Clorox all fabric and wash again. Depending on the fabric it will sometimes release the stain. I have more luck with the ammonia as it is very good with any type oil based stains. Other times the stain just becomes set with the heat from the dryer and it is a goner, I try both ways before I toss. I always wash bath and beach towels will a cup of ammonia 'cause it takes body oils out of the towels and always gets rid of the musty smell.
