I separate my loads into dark, jeans and work clothes. My only whites are t-shirts so I just throw them in with my jeans/shorts. These were work clothes. I never use warm water for any wash.

Bu I found a solution. Soap.

I rubbed soap (hand or liquid....I used both) into the stains. Let them sit for a while. Washed them. Air Dried them. Only one or two stains left and they are really not that noticeable but might repeat anyway., just in case. Now I might see how soap does on normal clothes.

My haircut on Saturday was $12.
My hair cut last week, was zero. I cut my own. ;)

Without knowing exactly what the stain is, it's a little difficult to remove. I don't think the stains were caused by too much detergent. Certainly, you can try Shout (as Goofyernmost suggested). I'm half wondering if these are some sort of water stains (there could be some odd chemicals in the water), or I wonder if there's something in your dryer that's causing the discoloration. As a suggestion, why not take one of the garments to a dry cleaner to see if they might have an idea of what kind of stain it is. They have all kinds of solvents they can use to remove various stains.

Oh, one final thought: did you separate out dark colors from whites, etc.? Were you using hot or cold water in the washing machine? (Colors tend to not run in colder water, but they will in hot water.)
Another thought, that I think is happening here is if you are eating and have a tiny drop of oil or grease drop on your clothes it is not always visible before you wash it. Once it hits the water it dilutes and spreads out to be a bigger spot that detergent alone cannot handle. Thus when done, there is a spot that you didn't think was there before. (a lot hinges on the pattern of fabric as well). So, anyway, you pre-treat it with Shout and low and behold, spot be gone.

Remember this is only theory, but, it is one of those things that I try not to obsess about. If it's there after I wash it, but, wasn't noticed before. I just put it back in the hamper and take care of it the next load.

@donaldtoo , I was at Target this morning and saw American Sniper on DVD, so I bought it. Watched it a few hours ago; it was intense. I was on the edge of my seat watching that. Never knew the history of that man; what a story, and what an ending . . .

I've wanted to see this movie since it was in theaters, but hubby didn't want to go to it. I know I could've went on my own, but never got around to it. I'm planning to rent it to watch on the plane ride to Europe in a couple weeks. I'm glad you found it worth watching.

More rain in an hour than the past couple months. Plus a couple rumbles of thunder....couple miles away though

Stay safe.

Fortunately, we're finally dryin' out a bit this weekend. There was a little activity down around Corpus Christi earlier, and still some between Laredo and McAllen down around the border, with some showers also out in the gulf.
Partly cloudy and 88 right now.

Kudos to Anheuser-Busch once again. A-B again suspended beer production to run batches of canned drinking water to send to Texas and Oklahoma. A-B has done this multiple times during state of emergencies and great to see the corporation has stepped up for these states too. :inlove:

Gosh that looks yummy. ;)

Yes it was. I was so freak'n hungry. I only had a piece of toast and I was up at 6am. I think we were eating at
like 3 in the afternoon. I ate it and ate it all, well minus the croutons anyhow.

I even ate the honey-wheat bread which is yummy but usually forgo to leave room for better stuff. My DD ate everything too but didn't order a salad.
She wasn't wasting valuable tummy space or rabbit food.
