The lake cruise last night was fabulous! :)
Great company with great folks.
Had a cool conversation with the owner. Nice guy.

Good Lord, I LOVE Austin...! :inlove:

So pretty. How is Austin fairing through all these storms?

I read a nice story yesterday about how the Austinites came out to foster critters from shelters that became flooded and that they found foster humans for all the critters displaced from their shelters. So sad when their shelter gets flooded, like their life isn't hard enough as it is.

As someone who has had major bladder reconstructive surgery; is now on my third scrip for over-active bladder syndrome (Detrol LA -> Vesicare -> Toviaz); is taking another medication that made me violently ill for four weeks; and am seriously looking at Botox as a bladder paralytic - let me tell you, I ain't fussy.

Red Solo cups work just fine. 'Cause my bladder doesn't. ;)
I had that malady my Dr. recommended to get a bottle of oregano, and take a tsp. a couple times a day. It worked for me. I've never had bladder surgery, so this may only work on a mild case over-active bladder. It might be worth a try. Of course I'm no Doctor, but my Doctor likes to use a more holistic approach...I meant oil of oregano I had to get mine from the health food store.

YES!! It's an excellent idea!! :joyfull:

From your "lifelong obsession with Walt Disney" this would be a perfect opportunity for you to join like-minded people who appreciate the history, nuances, and future developments. Also, it would be great to see Disneyland, and I know that you'd enjoy that for all the obvious reasons, but also, because that's where it all started for Walt Disney. I think that would be right up your alley.

Just curious--have you checked out the D23 tickets? Might be wrong, but I vaguely recall reading (a few years ago) that sometimes they sell out of tickets to this popular event (or maybe it might have been just specific mtgs., etc.). Also it's in August, which is a big vacation time for many people. I don't know what the ticket situation is at this point, but just wanted to pass that along for what it's worth.

Also, have you checked out the Disneyland Resort forum here on WDW Magic? There's some helpful information in those threads as well about the park, hotels, transportation, etc.

Going for it seems to be the unanimous decision. I was talking to my Mom about it and she said the same thing, "You're young and can afford it so you should do it while you have the opportunity." I've decided that as long as I can work everything out I'm gonna do it. I should know for sure by Friday.

I have been checking into D23 tickets. Early bird tickets went on sale January 1st and regular priced tickets go on sale July 1st (hey that's Canada Day!). As soon as I'm sure I can work my schedule out I will try to get tickets and I'll keep everyone here posted.

I keep an eye on the Disneyland forum. I'll definitely be looking for information over there and I may start a thread.

I really hope this works out. I'm already feeling excited.

I liked being in Niagara Falls in early July. Canada Day celebration on the 1st and Independence Day on the 4th on the other side of the river. Good fun over those few days.

I would like to go to Disneyland one day but I could really care less about seeing the rest of California.
