No doubt that customer services is much better in smaller store locations but if the locations don't hit their sales goals and or profitability is a continual issue then it is time for the execs to make a decision to continue operating a losing operation or close up.

We're fine. We're under new ownership, John Angelos is officially no longer with the team as a senior advisor (bye Felicia), they cleaned house with our coaching staff showing they actually want to improve, we still have the #1 minor league system with major prospects coming up, we made the playoffs two years in a row for the first time in over 30 years, and we have a young team with several new players coming up through the minors. So we have a future.

And we still have one of the best ballparks in baseball that is the model for newly built ballparks to this day.

Adding to this: now that the Orioles are out of it, I am cheering for the Guardians, not only to spite the Yankees, but because they last won a pennant in the 1940s, and they really deserve it.

Sorry Mets fans.

The Guardians are an awful name for a team. I wonder how much money got wasted to come up with that name.

It's like the new hockey team. Utah Hockey Club. Based on everybody else in the league. Name is totally wrong.

Utah Mormons it should be. I kid though 🤭

It sounds promising with prospects coming from the minors to the big time but that does not win championships with one of the lowest payrolls at $91M annually . When the big money payroll teams like the Red Sox, Yankees , Mets, Dodgers start reloading again writing the big fat contracts and these guys will be playing for one of those teams. Fast fact - 3 out of the 4 teams I mentioned are still in the playoffs. Some of the most historic parks are Fenway, Wrigley and the House that Ruth built.

I agree, although it's evidently based on a couple of statues in the city. All we can think about is Guardians of the Galaxy. 😂

Better than when the Redskins became the Washington Football team for a while. 🤣 I don't really like "Commanders" though either. Like, you could have done better than that.
