Buy the civic. You will regret buying the Alfa.

Pre 2020 - I've heard to stay away but post 2020, I haven't heard anything bad about those
We like reliability and longevity - Honda and Toyota. I’m still eyeing due to midlife crisis a Mustang GT 5.0 V8 stick shift then modify with Kooks long tube headers , H-Pipe cat back resonator delete and a MGW short throw shifter. The Mt-82 stock is problematic. The start up, hard pulls on this beast can wake up the dead. Mustangs that are modified are not only for the young kids.

They've gone way up. I paid $21,500 for my Civic. A comparable model is close to $29K. But they do hold their value; I get offers for $16K for it and it's six years old. During COVID it was nuts because there was such a a shortage that my car actually appreciated in value, which is nuts. I wasn't selling it, though. I plan on driving that thing forever.
