Allegator shoes or purses? Might be a relative that they haven't seen for a long time. Gators are sentimental that way.I'm wondering what store Mr. Gator was going to? (What kind of gifts do gators get each other for Christmas? )
I had to pick up two things yesterday at Walmart. It took 45 minutes. 10 minutes to get the items and 35 minutes in line at one of the 4 that were open out of 26 registers that were there. The line at the self checkout was even longer. Just navigating around that ginormous store was a chore. I felt like the majority of the population of Raleigh was there at the same time I was. If Walmart wants to have higher earnings the next stores they build should have only the number of registers they are going to use instead of just for show. I knew that it was going to be like this, but I am always amazed by the number of people that wait until the last minute. Odds and ends I can understand but the number of massively loaded carts was mind boggling.
I’ve heard and seen in shopping at stores , public sentiment is very positive during the holidays and Wall Street reports is consumer is spending more however a number of consumers are worried about the economy and the future. I feel the positive outlook with increased gains in the markets with the Dow and Nasdaq at record highs. Stores are getting smarter to increase sales. The shopping carts currently are bigger and deeper to make the consumer think to buy more . Shopping carts back in the day when I shopped were smaller in size. Many homes in my area have more and more holiday decorations outside their homes than years past.I had to pick up two things yesterday at Walmart. In spite of the crowd that particular store better hope for a massive crowd today or Sunday because their special Christmas area and toy area still have a massive amount of Christmas specific merch left.
Not a bit surprise with the cat.
OMG, what if you have a dusting of snow and you have to get out for milk and bread? What then? What with your gas gauge bouncing on half full what if you are stuck in a traffic jam due to the weather?Same here Walmart was packed, stopped at Costco to get gas and the line was ridiculous --still had half a tank so I said the heck with it and went home.
Right back at you xoxoMerry Christmas ppl!
