Huh? I bought a little jar of it -- and it was already done by the nice McCormick spice company people!

I have a recipe for gingerbread that has fresh and dried ginger in it. It's a lighter version and can be eaten year-round but it's mostly an after Christmas until spring cookie

Good evening my friend!
Tomorrow is the last day of school...yet (Fri. 12/22) instead of dismissing at 3:30pm we are dismissing at 1:30pm.
School does not resume until Tuesday morning January 2nd. That's a long enough break for me. Usually my 5th grade band students are always ready and glad to be back each year on January 2nd.
Any interesting plans for yourself regarding the next couple of weeks?

My husband and I built our gingerbread houses and as us we have a little competition to see which is better. Loser buys the winner dinner somewhere. So please vote in which you like better. I included a couple pictures with a couple views of them. Thanks for any votes.

James and I both vote 2 unless that's B's, in that case 1 as teachers always deserve an extra dinner out on somebody else

Enjoy your vacation break! As for us here, we don't have any big plans -- low key Christmas, but that's what we like.

They're both fun. That said, I'd say that #2 has the slight edge over 3.
