I know I have said I was not going to WDW any longer. Resorts costs are out of control. But things change in ones life. As a Vietnam Vet medical issues related to agent orange have reared it's ugly head and I will soon be classified a 100% disabled which opens up Shades of Green resort which is very reasonable priced so I will take advantage while I still can.
Thank you for your service and I'm so sorry to hear of your impending diagnosis. My bff lost an older brother to it:(
Shades is lovely and very quiet, the dedicated busses were never overly full even at park close, they know how to run a decent bar at acceptable prices:angelic:, the rooms are huge compared to most at Disney even compared to some of the Deluxe ones, there's a Starbucks right off the lobby, you should be able to book up to 3 rooms at your rate should you decide to do a big family trip and each room sleeps 5 adults, the only drawback is the food compared to some of the Disney resorts

That's like Long Beach airport in California. Tiny check-in area shared by multiple airlines. Eleven gates total. No jet bridges; you have to walk up to the plane on the tarmac. One runway. We pulled up and I was like, "Are you sure this is an airport?" But much easier going from DL to Hawaii than going to LAX.
Reminds me of the small airport and runway at John Wayne in CA. Took a propeller plane American Airlines to LAX then flew the red - eye on a big jet 757 to the East Coast. Scariest take off in my life. Very short runway then the pilot basically flew almost vertical when taking off. I was told the rich folks that live in the area don't want to hear too much of the noise of the planes. The 16 seat plane , no bathroom, had the pilots right in front of us where you can reach out and touch them if you want to , the vibration from the engines vibrated into your seat. It makes the Rock N Roller coaster at DHS seem like a magic carpet ride.

Thanks for the warm welcome back everyone.
@ajrwdwgirl I do have a tripped planned for January 2024, I'm in the early stages of planning but I have booked my flights and hotel.
The name change is to get ready for 2025 when (hopefully) I'll visit all 12 parks in 12 months.
Busy schedule for that. I have no desire to go to the theme parks in China but everything else I would do.

I think nearly 12 months should give me plenty of time to visit all the parks. I've been to the Honk Kong one already and really enjoyed it. I think Shanghai will be an experience. There are a few other things I would like to do in China but I'll do them in as little time as possible. Have you been to any parks outside the US?

That is a lot of theme parks in a year. It would be a great accomplishment.

I have 2025 plans for myself and is a big year. My parents in 2025 will celebrating a special wedding anniversary milestone and I know they would like to go to Shula's Steakhouse in 2025 for celebrating their special anniversary.

I would like to visit Epic Universe in September of 2025 since people would be back in school with me expects crowds not bad without counting weekends.

I can't help you since you wants 90s. According to 14 day forecast where I live, hottest day would be September 3rd at 86 degrees at this point.
That has changed. Next week Sunday through next week Tuesday is going to be in the 90s. Saturday is going to be around 89. The catch is this Wednesday is going to have a high of 68 and a low of 53.

The explanation of Southeastern Wisconsin only going to be 68 on Wednesday as high, but in the 90s 4 days later is easy. Southeastern Wisconsin's weather isn't completely stable.
I have no idea what I'm having for Labor Day, but I don't expect anything extremely big.
That changed. I'm having left over fried chicken on Labor Day:hungry:. Fried chicken and sides are going to be ordered on Saturday and have enough fried chicken through Monday.

Your plans for 2025 sound very nice and exciting.
