Come to the Orioles side.Past or present. Don't really have a favorite currently, I have several favorite former players. truth be told I haven't had much time to follow the past couple of years
Not player, but Buck Showalter used to manage the Orioles. Our current manager, Brandon Hyde, is exceptional, but I do miss Buck sometimes. You could never tell from the press conference if they won or lost, and so the few times he did lose his temper (coming out and drawing the strike zone for the umpire, for instance) it was hilarious.@Figgy1 .... favorite Mets player??
Idk about the Mets, but Yankees have poor management and coaching. Aaron Hicks, who came to us, is a prime example. He was playing terribly with the Yankees. Orioles picked him up, watched his batting footage, had him make a couple of adjustments, and he right away started playing better.I'm still in shock, the highest payroll , Yankees and Mets can't buy wins.
Mets and Yankees have the money to offer superman Otani the estimated $500M contract so if one of those teams get him that would be awesome.Idk about the Mets, but Yankees have poor management and coaching. I've seen Aaron Boone make some questionable management decisions. He probably needs to go.
Even with the payroll, the lineup isn't particularly strong. They're very dependent on Judge, which isn't good because he's been injured.
I think their fan base also contributes to the morale of their players. Hicks was getting constantly booed by their own fans. I've never seen visiting fans at our stadium boo their own players. We certainly don't do it even if they are having a bad day.
That, and they're just in a tough division. If they were in AL central, they'd be in first place. They're technically a winning team even if they are in last place, which is just nuts.
I have minimal knowledge of the Mets since they're a National League team.

Y'all Mets fans are the quietest fans ever. Seriously, so many Mets fans here and you cannot tell. I mean, I don't mind after having the Yankees fans here last week, but just, wow.
I also got onion rings from the bargain book coupon and deep fried Reese's peanut butter cups.I'm going to the Wisconsin Fair on Friday with it having great weather.
I call 81 degrees while being partly cloudy as a high as great weather. I know I'm going to have a cinnamon roll and a cheese on a stick at the fair for sure. I'll also use a coupon for getting $6.00 off 7 pieces of fudge that are going to be in a plastic container.
The rest depends on prices.
