Long story short we accidently wound up with 40 pounds of potatoes this week instead of the 20 originally on my shopping list:hilarious:
Coming up this week mashed potatoes with the chicken Sunday, gnocchi, sliced par boiled potatoes baked with pesto and either loaded potato soup or loaded baked potatoes if there's enough left for potato salad if we BBQ (fingers crossed) next Saturday

How can the school allow that? Don't they have holidays built into their calendar?
They do...they have Good Friday and Easter Monday off of school, but their performance is this week, and they got started late this year (long story...E's class is getting shafted with the merging of schools) and so they need all the time they can get to rehearse. So they have had rehearsals until 9pm, they've had rehearsals every weekend, and they have them this whole weekend and next week.

Brings back memories. In college in our dorms we had no microwaves. If we had leftover pizza we ate it at room temp or what others called cold. It went well with an ice cold beer.

As I’ve posted before, I lived with a buddy of mine down on the University of Texas campus for 2 years during the early 80’s.
We ate at Conans Pizza a lot, but also ordered a lot of Domino’s Pizza, to the point that we sometimes had their pizza boxes piled up waste high in our small kitchen, ‘til we took ‘em out to the dumpster…!!!!! :cautious::hilarious:
Back then, we used to order pepperoni and onion pizzas, and they were sooo good, as the crust was different then, and they put full onion rings on them, not diced.
I wish I had $0.25 for every time I ate a cold slice with a cold beer in the morning…GOOD times…!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:

That I can get behind. What's not to like about that?

EDIT: @Figgy1, it just occurred to me that it is actually a description of an Egg McMuffin except it's an Egg McBagel! With a little ketchup added to make it better!
I like the fact McDonalds has hot sauce packets. Goes well with breakfast items. Visiting Houston I liked breakfast burritos at a Mexican hole in the wall place with generous amounts of hot sauce.
